below i show that it is taught that the woman was created from man, for man, that man is the glory of god, but woman is not.
furthermore, the evangelist paul says that he'll not abide women teaching men, and he refers to genesis to explain why.

I do have a hard time with the way some scriptures contradict others. Maybe the individual writer puts their own spin on it based on their own feelings.

well, i often shared with benjamin the things i learned through this board, not just the serious stuff, but also some funny fluff.
but most importantly what i've learned about human nature - ex-jws are, in the main, just ordinary people like him and me.

i never did, no matter how much i was doing as far as field service & meeting attendance it never felt like enough.
i never felt like i was doing enough, ever; even though we were at all of the meetings faithfully, with three young children, which was no easy task.. .
I think I felt the most guilt when I was young and in school.
I was always with "worldly" friends and doing "worldly" things.
I just knew I was going to go down, with my pagan self, in the forever awaited Armagedon.
I think that is awful to do to children.
As I got older, I noticed all the hypocrisy in my family and the congregations I attended. I felt much better about myself from then on.
ok, the good news is i'm on vacation: a time when i should just relax, have fun, do things i like to do when i want to do them, stay up all night, sleep all day, whatever.
but, i picked of all times to *try* to quit smoking.
i used to smoke like only when i was drinking, or if i had a really bad day at work, but lately due to a stupid ass man in my life and my family fighting, i have been smoking more than i should.

I was told that it is really the "deep breathing" that is so relaxing. Maybe try that or take up Yoga or other relaxation methods.
