  What WBTS publications "explain" that wisdom mentioned in Proverbs is actually Jesus?

  the passage of scripture is proverbs 8. i'm not sure where i read that the jw's teach this is jesus.

  if anyone could cite me some of their publications talking about this, it would be great.

  total 70..., 40 to special pioneer y 30 regular pioneer.

  Looks like all religions are having a hard time with the economy tanking - watched 20/20 last week and many churches are closing, cant pay heat and electrical, not getting funds from parishoners

  In my area 4 RC churches, usually have 8500 parishoners, now only having 850 - selling off 3 churchs and all have to go to the one church - many are upset as the church is out of their areas

  I read the info on Blondies UN / DPI requirements and I am appalled:

  3 of its main criteria( out of several):

  Support the goals of the UN

  Collaborate (collaborating with the enemy)

  Give annual financial statement.. (wonder where they keep those reports??)

  I had heard of WTBTS being listed thru the NGO but thought they were out and there wasnt too much that had to be done to get "information" that could be used in the publications... too see the involvment they had to have is mind boggling

  I can't take this pain anymore...my life at dead end

  my life has reached to a dead end...i'm stuck and there is no way out.

  i was inactive for 6 years and i'm disfellowshiped for the past 3. i would never think that my life would have been in this terrible mess.. .

  i wasn't planned to be disfellowshiped by my "wife" turned me in to the elders for apostasy 2 times!!!

  I am a little confused at what your wife is doing... yes, you have stopped the meetings, etc... but you are still her husband, deserving of some respect, working to keep a roof over her and the kids heads...

  You are projecting yourself as a humble, concerned husband-- what is making her react like this when the BIBLE says she is to respect her husband and if he is a non believer, her loving concern will win him over.. on the other hand, your attitude may win her over - time is needed to do that..set the example ...

  now I know you were once in the truth, but if you havent committed adultery, not into porn, or drugs, a drunkard, etc... then she is a lucky gal.. and she should learn to "get along" with you in order that the kids are not showing fear in this toxic environment-- they feel stress, they feel they are the problem and blame themselves that their parents dont get along... PLEASE dont argue or retailiate in front of them. You are going through your problem, but so are the children...she has to be told this too..it isnt all your fault!

  One of the posters mentioned do more things with the children - movies, parks, zoo, museums, a picnic -- they will get excited and tell mommy how good a time they are having and little by little, she will come too.... eventually she will come around if she can start to use her own mind.. if not, by then you will know what to do..

  so i have really decided to lay off religion with my hardcore jw wife...

  damm it is awful.....and it is awful what i have put her through the past two years......so many tears, screams, walkouts, and even two brutal slaps on the chops...(all by her to me btw....although i have shed plenty of tears too).....just awful.......i so wish i could have just shut tf up.....but that is me.....vocal.....real.......open......we have been apart for awhile.......and i think that helped us both......i think she will now respect my non-jw life.....even though she will not be around my non jw friends ...give and take....and i will let her tread water in her cult.

  otwo helped me so much...and others too with the one in one out thingy.........it is tough.....thanks wings, and bonzzo and olin moyles and redred rose........and jk.........and otwo......and [email protected] rodney.i will dance with you anytime!!

  So sorry to hear of your plight.. sometimes in reading your posts I can feel the pain but the alcohol can be an easy way out... can you get sober long enough to figure out what exactly is the problem? And I am not being harsh or judgemental in this question either, my son is really a mess due to high stress levels and nightmares of armageddon, etc... enough of my son's issues... personally the negative talk by the WTBTS never bothered me but I never thought it would affect him as it has - and continues to do..he hasn't turned to chemical means to solve this problem but lives with it every day.. yet every day he talks about it...so it has not and will not leave him ..... (he is out of the truth)you have a wife and family to contend with... can u get to a phsycologist to talk over all your fears and get some straight on advice... whether or not they understand the deep down issues depends on what you want to dicsuss, and at this time, go for it all!

  You have to have some sort of cleansing, unburden your load, if you dont, it will take its toll on you. you have alot of friends on the board and do talk of your problems with them - that is good but you need more.. get to a dr immediately and open up to him/her.... you need to get medical and phsycological help - I cant spell...

  i listened to this recording and wanted to provide a summary of what i have heard......in essence the end is here, keep on the watch, how can we tell the end is here, we tell you so, so keep on the watch....what about those who had incorrect expectations, well they were awake and watching, but mistook some of the signs, but the end is still soooo near.. .

  the speakers pace is sooooo slow, even on the fast speed of playback, it seems to me to be slow.

  he starts with an explanation on how they have a wealth of information available to them, and most of the questions they are answering come from the theocratic library, but one must be willing to do the research (i guess only amongst somewhat current publications, and of course only use the watchtowers information).. .

  i am an active jw.

  i was born in the "truth" (i really feel uncomfortable calling it that) and am now married to a witness.. for a year now, i have actually come to see that the gb are just business-psychologists.

  anyone who views jehovah's witnesses as a religion and not a cult, really needs to evaluate their way of thinking and they also need to look up the definition of the word "cult".. anyway, my parents recently came over on holiday (they live in another country and are also residents of bethel).

  So I guess its a game, just to keep my sanity.. I have a few friends who are doing that, and I guess from my angle, me too ... from some comments made by others, there is a lot of doubt creeping in in my area , others just wont listen to anything, so its a tender tread to walk all the time, I do remember when we could sit down at a meal and talk and talk about the bible, loved it -- no more of that or suspicious looks come your way... its not right! The bible tells us to keep on knocking, keep on searching - yet we cant do that or that almighty "apostacy" word creeps in - I dont think 99% of Jw's know what this word REALLY means... one friend uses another Bible translation - I have a lot of them myself (translations that is)- the WTBTS uses other translations but yet the RF sees another bible being used and thats terrible... I cant believe people can be so taken over in mind-- but then I guess the same could be asked about Hitlers influence, Jonestown, etc.

  (1) "how much do you appreciate jehovah's provision of the faithful slave".

  (2) "directed by god's spirit in our ministry".

  While listening to the baptismal talk sunday morning, the brother mentioned" Brace up your mind to activity" and in the same breath," Listen to Jehovah, Jesus and the FDS"... He also said" you notice that in the last few months there has been a lot of emphasis put on the FDS in the mags - recognize they are being guided by the Holy Spirit, so use your sense of hearing wisely, listen and OBEY" -This was after saying that the devil walks about like a roaring lion...

  And: has the second question in the baptismal talk changed again? What I heard was "Dedicate and baptize yourself as a Jehovahs Witness in association with God's spirit directed organization?" Nothing mentioned in the second question about Jehovah, Jesus or the Holy Spirit. Maybe I just never noticed before.. can someone enlighten me please?
