5Molestation case in my area
by fern inin one of my early posts, i said that there wasn't any molestation cases that i knew of in the congregations in my area.
well all that has changed.
in the last few months i have learned that a man whom i have known since i was a little kid, and who hung around my older brothers and sisters has been molesting childred for years.

stepchildren!!!
by fern inok, i just have to vent for a minute!
i have known these two teenage girls for six years now and in that time they have wiped buggars on my furniture and walls, pooped their pants and continued to deny they had done it and refused to clean up and change their clothes.
they also routinely get poo and menstrual blood on the toilet seat and don't clean it up until i make them.

MJ's kids to be raised by Katherine Jackson and possibly as JW's
by fern ini just read on the accesshollywood website that michael jackson wanted his kids to be raised by his mother if anything happened to him.
those poor children will now have to endure an even more bizarre and f***ed up chilhood than before.
i feel bad for them.

Varying degrees of JW misery
by fern insince joining this forum, i have noticed the varying degrees of jw misery that people have experienced.
with a religion that is supposedly so accross the board and regimented, there seems to be a lot of difference in strictness on certain rules, etc.. i have many times talked about my unhappy childhood growing up as a jw but since joining this forum i can honestly say, i didn't have it nearly as bad as some who's stories i have read.
there was no incest or sexual abuse that i now of, and the attitude towards dfing was a little bit more relaxed.

by fern ini just had to share this funny and also pathetically sad story with everyone.
today my mom took me to a doc appt and while we were in the waiting room the story about the california eathquake came on.
it got my mom talking about the earthquake several months back in illinois.

Anyone else see "My shocking story" on TLC tonight?
by fern intlc had a program on called "my shocking story".
it was about this man who had elephant man disease and his face was horribly disfigured.
he wanted and needed to have surgery but the docs said it couldn't be done without a blood transfusion.

Ever wonder how seemingly smart people can be duped?
by fern indoes anyone ever wonder how their seemingly intelligent family members can be so totally taken in by this religion?
i look at my parents and just wonder how in the world do you fall for this jw crap?
neither of my parents are college educated but by no means are they stupid and have good judgement and sense when it comes to a lot of things, but not this religion.
