Creationist Red Herrings
by Abaddon ineverytime i hear someone say anything about how there are 'no transitional fossils' (fish-amphibians, amphibians-reptiles etc.
), i generally ignore it.. why?
because if they say that, it tends to indicate the person saying it has restricted their research to pro-creation sites that generally repeat one of the classic fifty or so creationist arguements.

Help me out here, I'm having an argument
by ballistic inwhat i'm debating is this.... and creationist probably wont be able to help.
reproduction is the driving forve of evolution, so why does evolution not simply favour the genes of those that reproduce the most...i.e.
not the most fit, intelligent, etc.. and if this is the case, why does the world not fill up with rampant nyphomaniacs?

Both sides of this debate amount out to resting "faith" on ones perceptions, whether that be Abiogenesis or Creation. Why can't both sides just admit that they don't know and then get on with their lives!?
Oh wait! That's right!
The "scientists" have their personal egos to protect, and the "creationists" have their "collective-ego" to protect.
