Disassociated for smoking at 15 years old then later after years of shinning befriended again.

after my 4 and 6 year old sisters and i (5) were molested and covered up by elders, at 15 i'm disassociated for smoking.

then years later after attending a passover with family members, i'm not suddenly disassociated anymore and attempted befriending begins.

Vienne please consider this ,I spent 20 plus years as a JW ,ministerial servant ,pioneered and brought many into the org and yet I still referred to the memorial as the Passover at times simply because the way they used to teach back in the past ,our minds were trained to look at the bible as one book and that from the beginning to the end it gave foregleams and stories which pointed to future events .

Like the story of the hebrews in Goshen ,the blood on the doorways to protect the people was a foregleam of Christ pouring out his blood to save the people . These events , and others were presented as a long series of one long story of how the world could find salvation before Armaggeddon.

So I can see how someone who has been isolated from the WTS for a while could either get the terminology mixed up or as above had a view like I had of linking the WT view together to understand the bible stories and the way the WT taught things. It is a bit like viewing The Law of the Jews as an example for the future ,after Christ changed things by fulfilling the Law but after his death up till today the witnesses still live under some kind of WTS laws but they do not refer to them as THE LAW.

As to whether the OP is genuine how about giving that person a little time to show themself ,they have not been here long have they?

Can Anything Good come out of America? ( Religious Wise )

i ask the same thing about religion and america the birth place of not a few "christian faiths" ?.

America was a country ripe for religion to take root and I think the world understands that Americans are very good at money and salesmanship. Well what a great place for religion to grow and fester in relative freedom unlike Europe and Britain where the Protestants and Catholics held power in government ,and hence over the people.

The new world of America promised breathing space to create ones own flavor.

And they did and realised there was money to be made and even as an export product ,and as a lot of people know like me they can SELL ,with the gift of the gab.

I was raised a Mormon and our house was frequented by missionary boys and they would drive me crazy with their never ending stories and brags. Over the years they would write to my mother about their lives after their 2 year mission and how they were helped thru the church into careers and how well off they were, still bragging.

By the time my mother was thrown out when I was 12, I told myself to ask how they are going over the years ,only one claimed to be straight and faithfully married, the rest were gay or bi living a lie with their wives. This made me question christian religion a bit and especially as they at the time ,saw African Americans as inferior and could not hold the priesthood etc !

And yet when I was older I married a woman with links to the JW's and eventually succumbed myself ,so I have had enough of American religion,

But to judge a nation of people on that basis would be wrong ,for they did give us the internet and that is what gave me the tools to get the hell out of the JW's that I joined unable to find info that refuted them due to it being years before the internet. It was me after all that made the decision to join.

Yeah why indeed, since the WTS rave on about a people being prepared for Jehovah ,why are the remnant of 144K not being prepared specially and taught how to bring the great crowd into the new system and also taught how to become rulers in heaven,since the women have not had the "priviledge" of eldership ?

So you can have classes for the window cleaner elder but not for members of the 144k as a group who are going to rule and heal the world?

I don't live in America so can only see, read ,hear of what is supposed to be happening there ,but to me it does'nt seem to be the America of yesterday.

Here in Australia, which is basically run by 2 parties, people mainly seem to be of the opinion that politicians from both sides are self serving and not much in the way of meaningful policies divides them.

But since the likes of Trump got in power it appears a strong division is happening there. I wonder if years ago Americans would have supported a Trump ,the way the media portrayed him and the way he portrayed himself to the public. But he did get voted in and America got what they wanted ,well at least the ones that voted for him.

So maybe it's the fault of the people then that put him there due to changing attitudes and beliefs ,lots of things contribute to change not just a Trump.

I think there are 2 types of people generally like the bible says, the sheep and the goats with the sheep being more common.

The sheep love to follow the popular path and worship other people as can be seen by movie stars singers politicians ,religious leaders etc they are blind to the fact that they eat and shit like everyone else. People have to belong to teams. Hence people worshipping Trump and other "leaders" perhaps are forgetting history and what it teaches. They have forgotten that there are people who are decent who would be better serving them as leaders and choose the leaders who are narcississtic or violent or forceful like history shows.

Yes I am a goat and maybe it seems to others I am fooling myself that decent people will take back the world but hope gives one something to live for ,but maybe the leaders the people select are a reflection of what people have become .

This is not meant to offend anyone, just an observation

Have JEHOVAH ever supported WARS between his WORSHIPPERS?

jehovah's witnesses used to state other christian denominations go to war and in fact that their religious leaders bless such wars.

they see this as one reason why all other christian denominations are not true christians since they kill one another at war and therefore they don't love one another as stated by jesus in john 13: 34,35.. for example when a roman catholic go to war, he/she is bound to kill a fellow roman catholic in the cause of the war.

therefore roman catholic can't be true christians since its member don't love one another and kill one another at war and as such god cannot be in support of such wars where his worshippers kill one another.. the question that comes for consideration is, has jehovah ever supported wars between his own worshippers?.
