  out of respect to those that don't appreciate secular christmas or festivus or [logical conjecture based on overwhelming observable evidence] but still keep the traditions of the religious holidays (any of them- christmas, hanukkah, any of them), i have not posted this until the religious part of those festivities have largely passed.

  in no offensive way whatsoever, i wish each one of you the best in whatever you celebrate: merry christmas, happy hanukkah, festive festivus, joyous kwanzaa, or (i suppose trying to put a similar muslim holiday in would be offensives so...) have a safe islamic pilgrimage.

  and of course, our asian friends who don't celebrate secular christmas are also wished well this season.

  Skyping trick on a 17 month old.

  our daughter (270 miles away) skypes with us and we interact with our baby grandaughter quite well through the computor.

  yesterday, we played a trick on her.

  we held a ritz cracker up to the camera and offered her a bite.

  Yeah...a reminder of how heartless JW's can be. Jehovah spared most of his people...but to hell with the rest, right? Bull.Shit. We all know for a fact that any relief efforts that are done BY JW's is FOR JW'S first and foremost...whereas other organizations will send relief efforts to whoever needs them, religion aside.

  @ fade_away, yes...in the congregation I was in, that was the big thing with some of the brothers. Their poker night was sacred. They never played for money, they only used the chips, and they only bit their cigars. They also dressed up...like...they had personas... It was kind of "little boyish". Like they never had fun growing up and needed to make up for it in adulthood...
