  today gorby watched the video of philip bromley commenting the jw victory on france at jw-media.org.

  what i see is a big co company man sitting behind his big desk in his luxery office.

  it could be a politician too.. do you hear the victory music also on the background?

  What I see is a big CO company man sitting behind his big desk in his luxery office. It could be a politician too.

  Do you hear the victory music also on the background? Like the US is defeating old Europe.

  These people are far away from the "rank-and-file" witnesses.

  watchtower on kingdom centennial birthday?.

  today i uploaded a new article to my blog addressing the gigantic birthday party the watchtower organization held for itself in 1984, and it wonders whether it will show the same courtesy to the birth of gods heavenly kingdom in 1914?

  yesterday @ congregation part 2

  it was an inspirational evening at the meeting yesterday evening.

  there was a nice comments @ congregational bible study (former bookstudy) about listening and obying the slave.

  "if we are told to go left, we are going left, if we are told to go right, we are going right".. the comment was welcomed by the book study elder of course.

  yesterday evening gorby attended the local congregation meeting.

  his mouth fell wide open hearing the accusion of the catholic church in a magazine presentation demonstration.

  the church was blamed for child abuse and the new order was the solution for this problem.. the watchtower society defends itselfs talking about abuse is a act of individual persons and no reason for blaming a whole religion.. everday the rank and file and the local and regional management of the witness blames institutions for every bad thing they can find, but dont want to look in the mirror..

  Sparlock has a different name in some other languages

  i know for a fact that our beloved hero sparlock has been given a different name in at least one other language version of the "become jehovah's friend" dvd.

  caleb has also been given a different name in the same video.

  obviously it makes a degree of sense to rename caleb according to names that are common in various different countries.

  Is the DVD with Sparlock released worldwide? It could be released only in the top 5 languages. (US / English, German, Spanish, French, Italian).

  Why I say so: my county's language (Netherlands / Dutch) is a small language group, not all digital WTS publications are released.

  So, I'm not sure that our big friend / hero Sparlock is going to land in our country. I let you know, our convention is end this month...

  yesterday i visited the local congregational meeting.

  some elders did parts of the meeting.

  i mentioned they acted tired, worn out and on routine.. they walked slowley, tired to the stage and did so walking from the stage.. it seems they are fed up with it.. gorby.

  Awful, horrible: still no official WTBTS statement about the child abuse case

  how awful, how un-christian beheavior, how horrible for believers with a conciense.

  the wtbts, the corporations, the pr staff in brooklyn / patterson gave no official comment about the child abuse case.. only the lawyer of the "local congregation" gave some remarks.. humiliating for the victims and also for fellow believers with a conciense and good hart.

  they only can questioning why the wtbts is hiding..

  Feeling about recent events

  these days i have strong feelings about the recent events.

  i mean the child abuse case.

  the context of the case makes me sure that our believe is not the truth.

  These days I have strong feelings about the recent events. I mean the child abuse case. The context of the case makes me sure that our believe is not the truth. The management style of the leadership. Protecting the corporations at all costs. Demolish the rank-and-file JW, the little children in the congregation.

  I had the same feelings when the UN membership of the WTBTS came out of the closed. Now, 10 years later, my feelings repead, but much stronger.

  Did anyone else get somewhat offended by the term "rank and file" that the WT attorney used.

  i was just surprised by that term being used by jim mccabe when he said "jonathan kendrick was not a leader or a pastor, he was just a rank-and-file member.".

  i thought that was only an apostate term and also what a put down to us lowly members.

  we are just a rank-and-file person.

  I noticed this in the statement also. The attorney must reed JWN. Words are importanted. They say so much more. It's like The Firm.
