Yeah those real trees are probably OK but you could stand on one of the needles...or my kids could eat them..or I could.

Categories and Labels

have you ever felt as a jw that you had a label on your forehead?

there may be a good reason for that feeling.

i don't know why, but i was thinking about this today and wondering if the elders and others in the cong.

.......and of course you will see that all those labels and categories were in evidence in the first century...just open your bible and see. Gods people have always needed a multitude of labels to identify the different types of worshipper.

i think everyone is missing the point by trying to argue for and against the wtbts using words and "logical argument".

clearly, god did not want the truth to be obvious and, scripturally, it is apparent that it would not be.

jesus said that only "a few" would find the truth in these last days.

Hi Alienone, a lot is debatable...i.e. evolution v creation. However claims that God is actively working/backing a particular religion..can be examined and conclusions drawn. The WTS cannot produce any evidence that God is backing it whatsoever. It has been accepted that you cannot expect God to do anything miraculously..but the idea of a FDS being given food at the proper time was conceivable. However to the stuff that comes through the WTS is nothing more than mans ideas...and pretty shoddy at that...to say much more is an insult to your intelligence.

german scientists have rigged up an air conditioning system for men's underpants.. doctors at giessen university near frankfurt wanted to prove men are more fertile if their crotch is kept cool.. they say the system increased sperm production in men suffering from low counts.. head researcher andreas jung says: "we have known for a while that heat is not good for sperm production, or the health of the sperm produced.

now we have proved it.".

chinese prostitutes 'offering discounts for students' .

reports in china say prostitutes are giving student discounts for their services.. the china youth daily says prostitutes in wuhan are offering cut-price "thai-style massages" for around 2.50.. the paper says it's shocked prostitutes are offering student prices.. the discounts are advertised in shop windows near the university, the paper says.. the paper doesn't say if students have to produce their id before getting the discount.. .
