  from what i know the wt from sunday had something to do with christ (just read title of blondies comments.

  so what was the purpose of such a comment?

  I'd love to give a dose of truth serum to 100 witnesses before a Sunday afternoon meeting during the summer and ask them if they were happy to be at the meeting instead of relaxing, exercising outside, going to a baseball game, shopping, making their yard look nice, or ANY OTHER ACTIVITY AT ALL.

  I bet zero out of 100 are happier to be at the KH during these beautiful summer weekend days.

  What sucks is if you are born in and leave after decades you really dont give a crap about going out and celebrating birthdays or celebrating holidays. What sort of meaning can these things have if they have been stolen away from you in your childhood by the cult.

  Its even difficult to find meaning in "things that interest you" when you leave. Like you say, anything I was interested in growing up was shoved into the back of the closet, forfeited in the name of meetings, FS, study, you know anything the cult can use to keep you busy.

  i know there are a lot.. one belief i never understood is that blood fractions might be ok for a christian but not "whole blood".

  to me the "blood doctrine" is ridiculous from a scriptural point of view..

  is counting how many people are present at a meeting a "privelige"

  i know that my daughters abuser was a min servant when he abused girls in the cong then got reprooved when found out , i presume he was then stopped from being a min servant but he never answered at meeting s despite every meeting standing at the back counting people present .

  when i started attending meetings i wondered why he never answered but was not too shy to count people every meeting , when i asked my bible study conducter she never really gave a straight answer and looked embaressed .

  i thought if you had been accused of abuse you could not have priveliges ..

  In most halls its the job of the attendant to do the count. Sometimes there is one attendant for the first half, then another one for the second. Sometimes its just one guy for the whole meeting. But the attendant is a so-called "privilege" (Good idea putting that in quotes) so if he is still doing it then I'm sure you could cause a stir by protesting. BTW looloo he only got reproved for that?
