Out of the frying pan and into the fire!
Cults gonna cult!
susanne eigenheer is an ex-jw and suffered religious abuse in eric wilson's group.
her personal statement and experiences within the beroean pickets study groups was one of betrayal where she was taken advantage of financially.
in one text conversation, wendy wiens disfellowshiped susanne and demanded an apology from her.
Out of the frying pan and into the fire!

two folks from the local kh visited the house yesterday looking for my wife who is an on again off again baptized jw.
wife was not available so they asked me to tell her about a special talk on marriage next week.
any outlines available for this ‘special talk’ or could this potentially be a local issue?.
I think there are a lot of unhappy marriages in “the truth”.
The advice the watchtower gives just doesn’t work.
They need to stop micromanage peoples lives and let them figure it out in their own.
If they did that the religion, if you want to call it that would cease to exist.
jw's are not known for laughter.
there are the rare exceptions.
they are more known for their fear mongering and doomsday scenarios where "the dead shall come to be as manure on the surface of the ground from one end of the earth clear to the other".
My experience with laughter at the Kingdom Hall is a negative one.
Ive noticed many a watchtower study conductor or book study conductor use “humour” to shame those who make mistakes in commenting.
I hate being laughed at. That’s why I don’t comment anymore
i was once was told by an jw elder it was a rule not to gossip or swear as it could harm someone, but i guess the new light allows this.
it was bad enough when they were calling people worldly now i heard a jw gossiping about someone and it was mean.just another reason i would never go back.
.
Most hard core jws have a pathetic existence.
Gossip is all they have.
If they were busy doing things that build their feelings of self self worth , they would neither need to or have the time to gossip about others.
I used to gossip, I was pathetic, and I was a full blown active jw.

the governing body of jehovah’s witnesses (gb) has done it again—another bold prophecy, another epic fail.
during their 2024 annual meeting, they confidently announced that the nations of the world would soon hand over their power to the united nations.

They all have highly paid employees and appointees that want to keep the gravy train going
They manufacture situations that make them appear necessary.

10 - "another reason why many feel there is no place for them in the service of god is due to the clergy-laity distinction that is fostered in the churches.
No clergy-laity division until a kiddy fidler isn’t reported to the local sherif department.
Then it’s we have clergy privileges
news is that the ramapo project has been approved by authorities and can move forward..
It’s another piece of saleable real estate.
If the land, materials, property taxes and labour are free it’s not very hard to turn a profit
in the past, we used to hear talks on:.
avoiding sexual immorality and porn, as well as masturbation and other sexual practices.
why evolution cannot possibly be true.
Some witnesses are in the congregation we associate with are lowering their standards.
I’m an inactive publisher. I haven’t reported for probably 6 years or so. Mrs. Hoser rarely goes in service. Probably once or twice per year.
We are 1/3 meeting attendees.
We were shunned socially by the jws for the past decade.
All of a sudden they are nice to us, they invite us to their houses and out for dinner at restaurants.
If it’s “encouragement” it’s not going to change us into model Jehovah’s witnesses.
They might want something from us but we are a boring, boorish couple.
Im not sure what’s up if anything.
for those still in the organization what is your meeting attendance like these days?.
when i left in 2017 there were around 80 publishers and the average meeting attendance was 70..
My area is definitely down.
The town I live in went from 4 to 3 congregations and some Sunday meetings there are scarcely 40 in attendance. Used to be 100 plus.
Another rural congregation just outside of our circuit was 80 plus publishers about 10 years ago. They are now 18.
If you look around the typical demographic in the congregation they are old people. 10 more years and there will be no one left.
an old elder friend from out of town stopped to see my ailing wife.
more than the locals do.
he said elder school emphasized 2 years and the existing body will be the leaders through persecution and tribulation.
2 more years of wasted life.
Depending on how old you are it could be a huge percentage of your remaining years.
2 years you could have 1/2 of your college degree under your belt.
Watchtower steals lives with their hopes and dreams fantasies.
