  Sorry, Mr. Camping -- Watchtower already owns the New Light phrase

  the united states patent and trademark office (pto) announced today their rejection of the phrase, new light, by the infamous and self-appointed seer and prophet, harold camping.

  camping has drawn severe criticism from opposers when he unsucessfully foretold that may 21 would be the date when the rapture would occur.

  he has since altered his forecast and now says that october 21, 2011, is his finalized prediction.

  my strange neighbor

  a neighbor four doors south of me.

  the night before our trash pick up he send his sons out (20-30 year old) with their trash and fill up the neighbors trash cans.

  i was speechless when my next door neighbor told me this.

  I figure that liability for the WTBS was also a factor in getting rid of the book study. Imagine if a newly interested person slipped on your icy step coming in to a meeting sanctioned by the society, who would be named on the lawsuit?

  Another factor is that not too many were willing to let their houses be used for the book study.

  so i'm sure someone's already noticed this by now, but i just want to post this because... well, why not?.

  i can't help but get that eery feeling that i'm at an assembly when listening to this video of harold camping talking about the rapture- the similarities are stunning, to me.

  in other news, obviously the rapture never happened- can't wait to see how this plays out for him and his cult following in the next few days and weeks.

  How come it was Our Kingdom Ministry then it was Our Kingdom Service then it was changed back to Our Kingdom Ministry?

  it was okm in the old days 50s and 60s then it was our kingdom service in the 70's then they changed it back again??????.

  this is the publication used at the service meeting thursday nights showing how to preach in the territory..

  Are You Raising An Introvert?

  its not easy being an introvert in an extrovert worldespecially when youre a kid.

  it is even more difficult if none of the adults in the kids life recognize that the child is an introvert.

  this doesnt happen only when the childs parents are extroverts, but also with introverted parents who have never understood their own introverted nature.. .

  Introverts do not fare well in a religion like the Jehovah's witnesses. A person who wants to be alone is viewed with suspicion, as if that person is involved in some wrongdoing. How does an introverted person fare as a regular pioneer, stuck in a car group all day long with nosy prying "sisters". They do not make it. They freak out when placed in those circumstances and everyone around them wonders" whats wrong with Sally, she is sooo sensitive?"
