JW spanking their kids

what do you think about jw spanking their kids at the kingdom hall?

some kids may need a swat in the tush from time to time(when they are pulling hair out of a bunny, digging there finger nails in to their sibling etc.) but its demeaning to the child emotionally and physically. To get a spanking for swigging, giggling, drawing a picture, smiling to much is just Wrong. Especially when the other people can hear it. Its Scaring to hear it too! I was a physically abused witness child myself. its Horrible to hit a child for being a child, and embarrassing them as well.

just finished watching a 'worlds apart' a danish movie portraying a young jw girl leaving the wt and dealing with the shunning of her family.

this was one of the last thoughts in the movie.

her final prayer to jehovah after being treated harshly by her family and elders.. "jehovah god, this is the last time we talk, because....i don't believe in you anymore".

i started out praying like White Dove.... but last Time i prayed i said something like: "God, Jehovah, Jesus, Hell, The Flying Spaghetti Monster, or if there is a God at all". I haven't got the chance to watch it all the way, but I'm hoping to finish watching it tonight. I find myself agnostic almost atheist now so praying is hard since I don't know who or if there is a deities.
