i know you may call me another russel or something, but i am just showing what i've found.

i am very amazed by what seems to be an uprising inside and outside of the jehovah's witness religion against the governing body and watchtower corporation.. it seems that all the scriptures about babylon and the apostasy apply to them today.

but check these two things out.

I saw your video on youtube and I like the way you put the elders on the spot and made them run around, a few people might have gotten it, but most will just fall in line and complain about that apostate disrupting the meetings. I know you want to stay in touch with your friends and family, but dude, after reading this, it sounds like you are obsessed with them and their dates and figuring out what's wrong with their prohecy and replacing it with your own.

bohm had it right. It's just numbers that someone wrote down based on 10 religions being all mashed together 4000 years ago. Let it go, man. Live your life.

JW concerned about my tattoo.

my jw friend (that i still talk to) saw on my facebook that i got a tattoo.

emailed me very concerned about my spiritual health and offered to come to my town to take me in service and to the meetings 'cause "we're getting close to the end of all of this, earthquakes in one place after another.

" she is so indoctrinated.

Mom: ... uh, let's do a Watchtower Study.

Everyone knows it never rained before the flood. A heavy fog or mist watered everything. That's basic provenable science. Scientists have proved this by drilling into the ice cores and before 3000 years ago there was no ICE, so there couldn't have been RAIN!

On a more serious note, I was at a graduation party for my neice and I literally heard a conversation similiar to the one I just faked up about the ice. Apparently one guy was talking about how scientist could tell a lot about global weather from ice cores from Antarctica, Greenland, etc. The followup comment was that when they got down to about 3000 years back they would finally find proof of the flood. Of course, no one knew they were well past 15000 years back. Or that, if you follow JW mythology, then there WOULDN'T be any ice 3000 years ago because the entire earth was a paradise with no rain and a single continent or something.

Either Jehovah lied or the magazine publishers lied - who was it?

They don't look at it that way. They look at it like a parent promising to take a kid to the park tomorrow. If the parent has to work late or gets sick, they didn't LIE, they just had to update the plans. The "light" got brighter.

Nevermind that that, pretty much other than "Trinity bad" and 144K, Witnesses from the 30's would be DF'ed for beleive just about anything they beleived back then. If that is light getting brighter, they must have been totally in the dark then. I also strongly suspect we'll be able to say the same thing about them 25 years from now.

If you think NASA any longer has a shred of credibility, I've got one word for you: LCROSS.

How does LCROSS not performing like they hoped make NASA full of "propoganda"?
