Funny stuff little witch. Good one!

i keep staring at the bookshelf full of wt literature in my house and keep having visions of a red-orange glow as the flames crawl higher and higher.
my goal is to gather it all together, douse it with lighter fluid, and watch it go!.
ultimately, i dream of my wife being the one who strikes the match and joins me in the celebration.. has anyone had that experience?

extra-curricular activities at school!
.
I have just began to enjoy sports in the last 3 years. Growing up a JW, I NEVER went to a football game, basketball game, baseball or any sporting event in my life. (Except for a football game at 5 years old, which I can barely rememeber). Then when I got into the working world, I found that everybody (in the south esp) LOVES sports. So for quite a few years I just listened to their stories anf felt lost. But a few years ago I started watching games and cultivating an interest in football, followed by baseball and a little of basketball. I really enjoy them now. I regularly go to games several times a year also now.

had an argument about this.i say no because many have done some really nasty things.it may tend to be 'clean' but i think it's not.what do you think?.
As I mentioned on another thread, I was pretty tight with the younger more rebellious teenagers/young adults during the time of my fade, simply because they never mentioned JW stuff. They knew of all kinds of stuff going on.
And from my thread a few weeks ago, as to whether as a JW you told the elders about wrongdoing, most everybody didn't ever tell anything.
So to answer your question, from what I've seen and heard - I don't buy into the "cleanness" of the congregations. I think there is more wrongdoing going on now than ever - and fewer than ever are reporting it.
What always tickled me is when the elders would get up and give talks and say "if you don't report wrongdoing, then it will continue going on in the congregation and Jehovah's spirit will leave the congregation and the congregation will not prosper". I never believed that even as a JW. How could somebody in the hall be out fornicating - and I know nothing about it - and because of that I lose Jehovah's spirit? Never made sense to me.

it's becoming more and more evident that many young jws just don't care about the wt rules anymore.
one jw on facebook has particularly intrigued me lately.
he posts pics of himself sporting (gasp) a beard and uses curse words in his status updates.
My ex-roommate from Bethel Temp work is on Facebook. He also graduated from Gilead last year also.

when i was 'in', that of course was a big thing, and i well knew all the scriptures and resonings behind it.. not long ago i saw a u tube video that took me into deepest space from the hymalian mountains and back in again.
what struck me was the shear immensity of just our own universe, let alone the rest of the known one.
i realized how tiny tiny nothing this little planet is.
Life is so much simpler WITHOUT all these invisible people running around in my imagination.

I helped my parents carry a trailer load of WT literature to the dump after they came out. I documented the entire event with pictures. It's pretty hilarious! I will post them one day.

i'm trying to filter through my previous jw beliefs....as to why wickedness exists on earth:.
(1) a talking snake talked a naked woman into eating a piece of fruit.. (2) god really wants to step in but he can't because of this weird predicament with the angels looking on... (3) but, the good news is that a man came and lived a few years and they put him to death.. (4) so, if you will believe in this man, and tell a lot of other people about him...you will one day be perfect.
and you can live in a world with nothing but jehovah's witnesses.

It all sounds so funny when you back up and look at it objectively.
