Mommy,
the terms superfecundation refers to the fertilization of two ova within a short period of time but not at the same coitus, nor necessarily by sperm from the same man. (Williams pg 864 - documented 1982 by Dr. Harris, black baby , type A, white baby, type 0, husband & wife type O. Wife had been raped.)
In superfetation, an interval as long as or longer than on ovulatory cycle intervenes between fertilizations. Willians pg 863 says " it has not been unequivocally demonstrated in women, although it is theoretically possible until the uterine cavity is oblierated by the fusion of the dicudua capsularis to the decidua vera. (Williams is the Bible of OBs in usa)
Soooo, I stand corrected, that if Williams said there hasn't been any documented cases of superfetation, only theorectical, I'll keep watching for it.
Unfortunately, this got us way off the tract of sex in the third trimester. My saying is - position of choice and experment! j

Mommy, sorry I have to put my 2 cents in. (but keep doing your research) I have personally had a patient that had twins (boy/girl) that were gestational 4 weeks apart. She ovulated 4 weeks after she was preg. and conceived her girl of the "twins". They Dubawitzed out to be 4 weeks difference, not a discordinate twin syndrome (that happens with idential twins). Also, you may have heard in England that a woman had twins with one being "mixed" race. FOB black, the other's white! Busy lady. You're right, never say never.

Having Children Inside vs Outside The Organizatio
by Ranchette ini feel cheated because i wouldnt know what its like to experience pregnancy and the birth of my children the way it was meant to be.. a completely natural and joyous event in human life was sabotaged by this religion!.
im sure there are others who know what i mean.. i would be interested to hear stories of others who have had children both inside and out of this organization.. i would like to explain what i mean.. i was raised as a witness and was always expected to be an example.
from as far back as i can remember we were taught that armageddon was just around the corner.

Hi Ranchette,
Thanks for sharing your experience. It really shows how cultish the borg is. My husband & I pioneered, went to Bethel the first 6 years of our marriage. I didn't want kids til the new system. (we married in 72) But while at Bethel I kept meeting so many branch overseer's wives going through menopause and not handling it well at all. After hearing them say that if they could do it again they would have kids, made me stop and think about our future. So in 76 we left to get pregnant. We didn't want to feel bad about a baby taking us out of full time work. Our first son was born 78, then a girl 79. Then an oops in 87. We love our children, but I know I could have given more love and attention instead of fighting over getting to the meetings, service, etc. My relationship with my youngest son has really changed for the better these past few months since our extricating ourselves.
So, please Rachette, use your experience to go forward with your children and be the mom you didn't get! j2bf -

Blood Type
by Christina77 inis it normal for those that refuse blood to not know their blood type?
that is usually one of the first things that the hospital lets parents know about their kids and when you go for any blood work it is on the top of the sheet.
i have a very rare blood type and i questioned my boyfriend about his for future knowlege when we have kids.

To answer your original question, yes it is normal for the average jw to not know their blood type (I would say 99%). Its just not important to them. j2bf

JWs Best/Ugliest Traits?
by Room 215 inmy votes:.
the best: as a group they're relatively color-blind (low to no incidence of racism among them ).. the worst: their stubborn refusal to see the good in anyone but themselves!.
what say you?

JW technology is the best!!!
by ballistic innew software has been developed by the brothers at the london bethel which heralds a major advancement in computer controlled publishing.
it has been described as the biggest step forward in the integration of artificial intelligence and real time content authorship ever to be achieved.
the basis for the break through was the merger of two systems which have been in use at jehovahs witnesses printing facilities for some time; the multi-lingual photo-type setting system and the cd edition of the watch tower library.. two huge cray computers running neural-net design artificial intelligence engines scan old copies of watchtowers, awakes and numerous other witness literature and re-draft the information into an entirely new and palatable form complete with pictures and various other resources from a un database.

How are they going to change history (like Proclaimer's book) when they copy staight off the old stuff. You know when they print the bound volumes at the end of the year, they are known to change facts there, too! j2bf

Purheart,
Good to question things. With all the different changes over the many, many years, have the FDS been FAILTHFUL? or DISCREET? Think about it. j2bf -

Hi Venice!
Thanks Cassiline for sharing about Compaq & wtbts. One of my laptops in the past was a compaq and I hated it. Now I know why. If it appeals to the wtbts, there must be something wrong with it!! lol j2bf -

Welcom Katie,
When I looked at you picture, I thought I was looking in a mirror! LOL
As far as emotions go, hopefully your feeling bad about words will be replaced with feeling good about yourself in whatever situation. I grew up a jw and can still remember once in awhile in grade school saying the pledge of allegence just so I wouldn't feel so different than my friends. But I agree, some phrases are still hard to let go as something I would do or say now. Let us know how you progress as you try out different greetings. j2bf
