  God ordered abortions?

  i have a question.

  i have asked it in a private discussion with a fundamentalist who cowardly ignored the whole premise of the thought and am hoping there is someone here who can address it.. i am aware of the fact that abortion is one hot button topic.

  modern day prophets

  lately i have seen it pointed out that the bible is indeed inspired, if only the parts that contain prophecy (that of course have "come true").

  this compelled me to make the comment that anyone with any knowledge of the ways of humankind can be a pretty accurate prophet.. prophecy, in one form or another, has been a necessary skill for all sorts of people throughout the ages.

  anyone who needed to come up with a strategy needed to be an accurate prophet.

  in light of a recent thread on the ten commandments i wanted to post a few paragraphs that compare two authors of sets of ten "commandments".

  it is interesting to hear christians claim that the ten commandments from the bible are at the heart of law and justice.

  it is also utter nonsense.
