JW Youths - Living "Double Lives"

i grew up around very hypocritical jw youth.

many of whom i now know at 20 were never living up to the lie they put out ... stupid me i was.

here i stand now because of it - i am sure most of you here being ex-jw's know this very familiar situation.

This is one of the major problems of the JW youth. Most of them they are living double life. In our ex-jw web side www.oodegr.com. It is the best greek ex-jw web side, focusing on Christian Orthodox faith, and the Apostolic Succesion of the Early Church.

We get frequent emails from "wordly"people that they are having an affair with a JW. At least we have 4-5 cases every month!!! From this emails we know that most of the JW's are doing what the rest of the youths do. Most amazingly is that some they are elders children!!!

Here are some of my personal experience regarding JW's living double life. Not all the cases are from the email that we are having.

1.JW she is having an affair with wordly person, becomes pregrant at the age of 16!!! Then she gets married with the class made, and the boy at 19 gets baptized as a JW

2. Another JW girl makes abortion at the age of 17

3.A wealthy JW playboy son of a prominant elder haves a secret affair with a wordly girl. When she becomes pregrant and the story is uncovered they get married. But no discipline measures were taken by the elders. It seems daddy's money and possition save his ass.

4. A JW girl she as having an affair with wordly person gets caught and disfellowshiped. Then she is reinstated after a year

5. Another JW girl she is having an affair with a wordly guy but she gets away with it since her dad is an elder

This are just a few examples of JW youth living a double life. Even when I was young back in the mid 80's and 90's I still recall that most of my JW friends they were having a double life, and most of them they were elders children

jw's say no.. my mom, who is baptist now, is sure that the soul lives on.

so, just like a good jw of old, i said to her, "the devil wants you to believe that".. then she said, how about your spirit?

At Ecclesiastis we have a PERSONAL opinion of the writter. In one other occasion the same writter said that everything is vanity...so shall we take that as Biblical teaching?

By the way what counts the Old Testamen or the New? Even Jesus said the parable with the rich man and Lazarus. Even if it is a parable why Jesus would say a parable that supposed is demon oriented? Jesus was always in the parables was refering to REAL facts. He never used fairy tail examples( dragons and flying horses)in the parables. It is shown that the righteous will inherit a place in kindom of heaven, while the unrighteous a place way from God.

After being disfellowshiped from the WT, I was born in the "truth", I find it hard to start a new life. I was for 6 years innactive, and 2 years that I have been disfellowshiped.

Unfortunately I didn't had any college degree and I have hardly finished high school. It was the mid 80's and there was a great anxiety at JW world at that time, the famous generation. So I quit school(I was in the last grade) and start pioneering.My first doubts started with the generation change and in 5 years I quit all my privelages in the cong. Then I realize that life is so hard. Having a family and kids it was really a daily straggle to get money for the family needs.

All I could do it was working. Two and three jobs, and just trying to survive. There was never understanding from my JW wife. She was always complaining and asking for more. I was no doctor, or a business man, and I was doing my best to provide my family with the neccesary things of life, and sometimes even more. After I got disfellowshiped I had to leave the house and my 2 children with my ex-wife. Instead of having a place of peace, my house become a place of trouble and tense fighting. I didn't anymore wanted to be a JW. I hated their Organization and what stands for. I was sick of their theology and hypocrisy. I only wanted to be free from them. I found Jesus for my first time in my life and I was happy. But happiness couldn't last.

Now I'm still trying to pay the depts, and really life has become so expensive, specially when you are uneducated person. I see my classmates, that they enjoy a good life, since most of them finished university. Most of the times I'm left days without money because of the cost of living, and due to the fact that I still support my children. Having no place to stay, always looking for a room to stay, it is really hard to keep on going, Sometimes I even think going back there, but then I again I will not be able to take it. I'm thinking off my children and the fact that they will grow JW's. If I had the money I wouldn't left them with my ex-wife. But I don't. So the idea the those pure souls they will be devoured by the WT monster really kills me.

I tried to find a better jobs but didn't worked out. Specially when you don't have any college degree. I see my life run so fast, and I can't do anything to control it. It seems that the control was taken by the WT since I was born...

Our Soul this is what survives. Our soul is our personality, it us our existence. This is why St. Peter said that the gospel was preached to the dead. And this happened when Jesus entered to Hades to preach to the spirits there.

Indeed we have a soul, and there are many Bible scriptures to show that. After Jesus broke the bonds of Hades the souls have gone to heaven, because Hades was a place that the Souls were waiting for the Glorious Jesus gospel, when he opened the doors of Hades.

Don't bother recycling ... God will fix the earth

just browsing the site for kicks, and this annoyed me.

typical jw attitude - with the readership they supposedly have, they could have made a real difference ... encouraged all jw's to recycle, buy carefully etc.

This is a very narrowminded JW attitude. For JW's they don't care about our plannet, our enviroment , pollution, global warming, recycling. All is rest upon God to fix the problems.

But is we humans that we are living on this plannet, and is depending upon us to give a better future to our children. If we continue our apathy then not much will left for this plannet.

That is why is time to start awaking up as world cittizens. Is about time to raise our voice agains those who are trying to set this New World Order. Is about time to start looking for alternative energy solutions, and they are plendy on this plannet, and get rid of the Oil Masters and their pawns (Bush and Gordons) admninstration that they are controlling the world, and they have done wars for oil, and killed millions of innocent people.

Unfortunately we have been hypnotized by the media, and we are not looking the real problems. They gave us all this goods to spend. They give us a fake world so we can forget our plannet, because they are so arrogant and they understand only one word MONEY

Exactly like the WT...their real issue is not about God's Kindom. Is about WT's domination over millions who blindly follow them. JW's are just another puzzle of the New Word Order, and they are waiting for God to change things.

Anybody remember this case?

does anybody remember the case from italy, it involved a married couple who were new to the jw org and had a child that needed a transfusion.

they refused, the child died and they were both sent to prison for long terms of imprisonment.

we were often told of their great faith even so new in "the truth".

I do recall this case, but I don't know what happened after they went to prison...perhaps any JW's(ex)from Italy can give us some light on this matter...indeed how would the parents feel now...is just a shame and another innocent life, and this time a life of a child was sacrified in the WT's altar of blood.

I will never understand how this God of "Love" demands so much blood from the JW's

Jesus Last Supper, and the true about the "Bread"

watchtower holds the possition that jesus christ at the last supper, had the celebration of the jewish passover, and that the bread he shared with the disciples was unleavened bread.. the gospel account it might be misleading at first, and lead to a wrong conclusion like wt does.

with a close examination what happened regarding jesus last supper, and compare the old testament accounts of the passover and the gospels account, the outcome is completely different.. mark 14:12 shows that the last supper occured the day before the unleavened feast, and at mark 14:22 jesus here cut the bread and share it.

in the bible when the bread is unleavened it is specifying this.

1. And before the feast of the passover, Jesus knowing that his hour hath come, that he may remove out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own who are in the world, to the end he loved them

2 And supper being come, the devil already having put it into the heart of Judas of Simon, Iscariot, that he may deliver him up

So when it was the feast of passover starting?

You do not want me to comment about what I think about that comment.

I'm an open minded person and willing to discuss ALL MATERS without prejudice, and to hear comments based on logic and facts. At least I can prove the Apostolic Succesion of the Orthodox Church that goes back from the days of James the first Bishop of Jerusalim, that is 2000 years. As for the wrong things that the Orthodox Church gets them wrong, again I'm willing to point me out the wrong things as you said.
