isaiah 51:9,10..job 26:12-13...psalm 89:9,10...isaiah 27:1...psalm 74:13,14...psalm 77:16 and possibly other verses refer to a sea monster who is vanquished (split in two)by yahweh.

the contexts show application to creation and/or judgement of enemies.

i'm hoping this sparks a discussion.

There are many things that personally makes me question the Old testament. For example: Numbers 31:17-19 Moses commands hes souldiers to KILL every male but keep alive the females and virgins, all the rest, male babes, old, non virgins should be killed. In some other occasions the order was to kill all, from babes to old people.

This tactic of killing the males and keep the women it is exactly the same thing that the Othoman empire(Turks)were doing during their domination untill 1922, in order to keep and expand the population of their empire. The bigisted slautering was in 1912-1916 were 1.5 Armenians were slautered by the Turks(even until now they don't accept that they have done this killings although many European Countries have recognized this)and at least 0,5 million Greeks living in Turkey(ex-Byzantine Land)during those dark years.

The killing of innocend Human people it is something that I cannot aceppt. There is NO EXCUSE to take human life and specially a baby's life. And that makes me question what kind of God is the God of the Old Testament. And the old testament it is one of the most violent and immoral books to read...

One the other hand:

1. There is no Historical proove that the Hebrews were living in Egypt as slaves during the time 1450 b.c.

2. Simiral story of Moses exists in the Egyptian mythology

3. There are religious books that were written long time ago before the old testament,(something that the WT does not accept) The indian sanscritic language and the Book of Vedes is at least 5000 years old.(only 50 years after the dead of Adam) And Egyptians have a record History of 7000 years old(1000 years before Adam was created!!!) and the Sumerians have books going back 4000 years.

4. We(Greeks) we have the book of the Orphean Songs(Greek God)that shows Astronomical Observations and events that took place at least 12,000 years old. (By the way we knew that the earth was round long before the Jews came to excistence as a nation).

5. And last Pyramids were build 50 years before the world wide "flood"and Sphynx is about 10.000 years old. So if there was a flood(which i believe is the History of the Melting of the Ice age) and that was 10.000 years ago.

This are just few things to mention. I believe that manking has lost it's Hisrtory and some how it is hidden behind legents and mythology...

Razorblade, I beleive that if you go after 20 years in your kindomn hall you will not know anyone!!! The old have died and the young ones 2nd & 3rd generation Witness they have left...

I go to the meetings 1-2 times a month usually the puplic talk and then I go...I hate the Watchtower article study

30 more anointed last year..what the...

hey, .

ive been on other sites, and i am a disfellowshipped witness dropping in to say hi, wanted to say that i have noticed that there have been 30 more anointed that have bit the cracker...and drunk the wine .anyone know how the gb is explaining this one?

thought the numbers would be going down , from how i was taught.....is the gb hoping no one will notice this , or will they be sending assassins to help lower that number?.

The dogma of the "sealing" of the anointed ones it is just another fantasy created by Booze Jo, like the many unscripture dogmas hold by the WT. Instead of accepting the simple bible truth that Christians in order to have life they must share the body and blood of Jesus, that is clearly stated on John 6:45-end of the chapter.

If the sealing was done in 1935 that means no one of the "annointed" should be alive, if we take the average age of 25 years old that means they werre born in 1910. That means they are 93 years old!!!It seems that the "annointed" of the WT live many years!!! If we look that for the past 20 years this number it hasn't change...

Jesus Christ he said to the Scribes and Pharisees at Hes time:(And of course the "second fulfillment" in our times for the Scribes and Pharisees living in Brooklyn N.Y)

OBSERVATIONS BY MY THERAPIST

my last therapy session was all about the "truth".

after many sessions i finally brought up the thought that maybe some of my depression and low self-esteem issues have to do with spending 40 years in a high-control religion.. i won't bore you with all the details but some of the highlights of what i said bothers me are:.

my never feeling like i am doing enough or are good enough.. having regrets about missed opportunities and having let others control my life.. constant changing of doctrine and dates.

When I first started to have doubts about the WT that is not true somebody told me that I will face many emotional distress regarding my decision to brake away from the chains of the WT cult. I thought that he was telling me nonsence.

But he was right. Although been connvised that the WT theology system it has nothing to do with Christianity, still after 4 years regularly I suffer from deepression, and self confidence. And from time to time I have panic attacts.

I know that WT is a false prophet, that their leadership are a bunch of arrogants who they are thursty of power over peoples lives. I know that God is not a Criminal to kill 99% of the human race because they didn't "listen" to the message of the Witnesses. A message that apparently they have change it 4 times since this cult started back in 1880's. I have found the Jesus the God of Love and Compassion and I know that he will give to all mankind the opportunity to see He's works.

But still I suffer from all this symptoms symply because I was raised in a high control group.

One ex-Witness in my country he said this wise words:

It is very easy to leave the WT. The hard thing it is the WT to leave your head

just recieved a new letter from the society.

it is another begging letter for contributions, in it they explain the british tax relief given to them as a charity .

for every 1 pound donated the goverment will give them an extra 28p if it is donated under the gift aid arrangement.

The WT keeps on building it's Empire upon the money of their followers, and they are going to get bigger and bigger because they have millions of slaves donating money to them.

No one knows what does the WT with all this money. They even have investments in the war technoglogy, and agreements with the US Navy.

The best way to keep their victims it is the fear of Armageddon, and with this fear they have managed to build their DIRTY ORGANIZATION

Our experience regarding your case(most of us have been through the same thing) shows that it will be very difficult to put together again your family...The only way is when they see(hopefully) that the WT it is just another fake religion, and God has nothing to do with them.

This is the only chance you have, otherwise they will spend their rest of their lifes shunning you. WT is not a religion of love. WT is a relion of hate and has broken families, distroyed hyman lifes, and has actually KILL people because of their false doctrines(human transplants, blood transfusions, service at the Army, and many other cases)

Will Child Custody Reform the Watchtower?

it's a fair question - and one that, i'm sure, concerns the watchtower's leadership.. could child custody cases force the watchtower to reform their repellent policies?.

i judge that such cases are not restricted in the same way as other more formal court.

I agree with minimus. And another thing, why does WT has the best loyers in USA? And hardly no one(Ex-JW) has ever win a case against the WT?
