31 years young tomorrow, B Day...four years of freedom from the towers...

(i was born feb 16th 1983).. i'll be 31 years old tomorrow and i feel indifferent about it.
as usually my mom said your gonna be 31 but she didnt say happy birthday.

I'll be 31 years old tomorrow and I feel indifferent about it. As usually my mom said your gonna be 31 but she didnt say happy birthday. I'm used to it. No acknowledgement for me. But when its their (my parents) anniversary, etc, they want us (me and my brothers) to acknowledge them. Same with my other J dub relatives. Oh well, it is what it is. I'm gonna be happy regardless. I'll be working the graveyard shift thinking about my childhood years...!

Its optional for me. I would love to celebrate it. I'm single but since I had to work this year wasnt able to go out for it. I think holidays are wonderful, but its optional for me to celebrate it. It looked fun many many years ago. Holidays nowadays seems so fake, forced, and phoney.

by booker-t ini have heard rumors for over a year now that the wt is not going to have a 2014 dc.
i know they are having a circuit assembly and special day talk assembly but what about their yearly dc.
has anybody heard anything?.

Reading exJW then JW facebook sites can make you go crazy!
by ILoveTTATT init's absolutely amazing what exactly the same event can do to the jw community and the exjw community.. the difference is that the jw community does not think and has the expected response... we think and, of course, have the exact opposite response as the jw's.. take for example the march km with the "will this be the last?

Big convention in Milwaukee June 2014

^ @ Finkelstein, I'm going more out of curiousity of seeing our new ball park here in Milwaukee. I havent been there since they opened it. And then I want to see some of the people that go to my old kingdom hall, well my childhood and early adult hood kingdom hall. Trust me, I have NO PLANS on returing to the kingdom hell.

Elder and CO just dropped by....
by El_Guapo ini haven't been to a meeting in over a year, and as you know as soon as you stop attending meetings/fieldservice the "conditional" love becomes more apperant.
the coordinating elder starts off by saying how much he loves and misses me, etc.
i ask him, when was the last time you called or texted me?

They are always so fake. This elderly brother who was in a senior home that our family was good friends who died at the beginning of last year would always know that when the elders came around, it must mean that it is a C.O's visit.
