  Wish I Had Been On That Jury

  i was summoned for jury duty in march of this year.. if i'd been called to serve on a case involving wt, i would not have mentioned my prior association with the jw's.. i wonder if any serving on the jury in the candace conti case did something similar.. theocratic warfare can work both ways, baby!.

  Reduction of Announcements

  starting the week of september 3rd they will cease having local announcement as part of the service meeting.

  is there going to be a much reduction of the letters sent to the congregation?

  will everyone be expected to read the bulletin board to know what is going on?

  eight years ago before simon changed over to this site, i was known as blueblades.

  i mentioned back then 7/21/03 that i was diagnosed as having a narrow aortic valve.

  well, the time has come to update all my friends back then and now.

  Yes, the WT is circling the wagons. They are very vulnerable right now between the internet, legal judgements and dwindling growth. Perhaps their paranoia will have a backlash effect on many.

  ... where i revealed my achilles' tendon in spelling.. heretofore, i had been the queen of the slope, besting all who dared take me on in a spelling competition.. the word was plough; it was spelled that way on the official list, but sharecroppers' daughter that i was, i blurted out p-l-o-w, and was promptly disqualified.. ouch!.

  I suppose when they hatch the parents will be bringing them food for a time. That will be fun to watch.
