Am I understanding you correctly that when you quote Matthew 28:18 you are agreeing that he recieved the 'authority' AFTER his resurrection and not before?

Actually, if i may, he recieved it AFTER. He did not have "all authority" in heaven and on the earth. While he was on earth, he DID have 'authority' on the earth. He had the authroty to forgive sins, literally take sicknesses into his own body and bear the illness, rebuke the wind and the waters, the fig tree, and if necessary, a mountain.

He definitely had 'all authority' on earth. When he was resurrected, the Father granted him "all authority IN HEAVEN and on earth."

Greetings Roy,

I truly understand what you went through.. as any JW does. The most 'comforting' thing I learned when I finally came and "met" Christ was.. Armageddon is not going to happen the way the WTBTS says its going to happen.

In the end when the sun gets dark, and the moon doesn't give its like, our Lord will be revealed in plain sight for all to see. It will be a horrible appearance that "man" was NOT prepared for. When they see Jesus in his 'actual' form and his 'actual' figure.. they WILL be astonished.

Jesus comes and those who fell asleep in union with him will rise first. Then we who are in the earth are gathered from the four winds and together we meet the Lord in the air. When we return, we each sit on thrones and all who were 'left behind' are gathered before us, ALL nations. And our Lord separates the sheep from the goats.

They are judged. Those who are not in the scroll of life will be gathered, Gog and Magog. Satan is let loose and these are gathered across the earth against the beloved city. This is the war of the great day of God Almighty. Fire comes down out of heaven and consumes the goats AND the demons motivating the goats. Then the resurrection in which everyone who ever lived will rise, both good and bad. They will be judged out of the scrolls. All who are not in the scroll of life are thrown into the firey lake.

So Armegeddon will not take place until after the 1000 years have ended. so.. the JWs will be in for a BIG suprise!

Because Jesus BOUGHT Jehovah's witnesses to become his personal witnesses. This is why in the Greek scriptures.. you will NEVER see "Jehovah's witnesses" but you WILL see "witnesses TO Jesus."

We are to be HIS and ONLY his. No one else's. Our WHOLE 'basis' for life (including everlasting life) is Him, constantly. We are to have Jesus before our eyes constantly.

disassociation only makes things worst, because you are saying by your actions that Jehovah will not forgive you.

Would YOU be willing to get difellowshipped for the sake of Jesus? Would you leave if Jesus asked you to? She/he can 'disassociate' and become the 'sole' property of Jesus and thus, his Father.

Regarding your standing with God... the organization is NOT God. God is God. And he does not need an organization in order for people to do his will. for his will is not done by "army, or organization" but, BY MY SPIRIT."

Jesus is our only way to God, and the ONLY Truth of God. So if you are concerned about your standing with God, measure "yourself" in light of Christ. And I DO NOT MEAN say : "How many meetings have you attended, or how much studying have you done?"

I mean, "What exists in your HEART?" Do you have hate, envy, strife? If so go to him and ask him for holy spirit so that you may clean these out of your heart.

Do you have 'love' in your heart? How about TRUE LOVE? God's Love. Do you love those who hate you, FROM YOUR HEART? He who has 'perfect love' in him has God residing IN him.

1 John 3:16

Do you love God will all your heart? If so, then you would be willing to get disfellowshipped for the sake of Christ, yes?

Are you willing to be hated by ALL PEOPLE (JW, ex-JW) for the sake of Christ? If not, look in your heart and "know" yourself as to why.

When you look inside yourself and see your TRUE nakedness and your TRUE 'lack of faith' you will be "humbled" before your God and your God will come to you and speak directly to you, as to what you should and should not do. If you listen and obey the holy spirit, you will recieve more. If you refrain, you will know why you refrained and what you need to do to "hear his voice again."

hello my dear Vitameatavegamin,

I understand when you say there are still some very loving witnesses in the organization. This is true. That is why Jesus said respecting them:

"I will enter in among them and call ALL my OWN sheep out, BY NAME and I will go out and they themselves will follow me."

He is the fine shepherd, our real shepherd. During the time we were in the organization we were 'under' the care of "hired men." But our Father kept hearing our complaint of this slavery go up to heaven before his altar. At that time, Jah remebered Israel, his love, and our father Abraham. And so he sends his Son, once again to 'call out' to us and invite us home.

Many still believe that we cannot hear Jesus directly, but those who believe he talks, hear his voice, and literally "follow him out." He is our "Moses" and he leads us out of Egypt (the organization) through the wilderness to the Mountain of Jah. Then eventually, to the Promised Land, our heavenly inheritance the Jesus prepared for us.

Is the WT under a CURSE?!?!?!?!

i would like to know your view, is the watchtower organization under a curse!!!?.

i feel they are; here is why:.

1) galatians 1:8 however even if we or an angel out of heaven were to declare to you as good news something beyond what we declared to you as good news let him be accursed.. has the watchtower gone beyond what paul declared as good news or is it the same as paul taught.. wt good news is all about them and how they are gods organization and if you recognize them you will be saved (of coarse they dont leave out jesus), its just that its of secondary importance because now his kingdom has been born and we all need to not doubt them that they are gods organization, to get life.. 2) 2peter3:16 mentions that some ...are twisting ,as they do the rest of the scriptures to their own destruction.. is the wt twisting scriptures to their own destruction?.

Paul preach good news to LIVE in HEAVEN.

WTBTS preach good news to 'live on earth.'

Jesus said to STOP storing up treasures upon the EARTH.

WTBTS store up their HOPE on EARTH.

Yes, they DO teach a different 'gospel.'
