  UNDESERVED kindness or DESERVED kindness?

  i'm tired of hearing people grovel before their "benevolent" creator.. recently i was listening to a jw relative express regrets over their rebellious life-style when they were young.

  then came that phrase:.

  "i'm so greatful for jehovah's undeserved kindness and that he can accept me with my sinful past.".

  What's in it for them? (GB)

  if the wbts is just another business?

  then what do the gb get out of all this?.

  tim cook (ceo apple) makes around 378 million a year.. donald trump makes around 60 million a year.. i understand the wbts may have vast property holdings, stocks, bonds, and revenue from donations.. but i can't grasp the incentive for the gb to make this stuff up.

  i was at a amusement park here in calgary today.

  my jw mother and my young brother came to visit for a week,so me and my sister thought it would a nice idea to take them to do something fun.

  i guess they had a part of it called hallo street and my mom was getting all sketched out from all the halloween decorations around.

  I had one sister tell me going to therapy was demonic. All I needed to do was pray more and go out in service and trust in god for my depression. Going to therapy was trusting in man and that was demonic. Totally ADD

  There is alot of talk about how the world banking system will break apart and cause a world depression. But the US will still have all it's bombs and ships and planes to kill everybody my guess who the next world power will be would be India. The only reason I say that is because it makes no sense at all just like the Wt. making their perdictions. Totally ADD

  i would have to say that ray franz was the biggest influence for me.. when i first got on this board, a poster by the name of james, a former bethelite and organization heavy, helped me understand a lot of the inner workings in the upper echelons of the society.. .

  and of course, farkel's common sense approach was (usually) helpful..

  My wife Reopened Mind. With her help see would give me research off the site to help me reason on things. The best one was on the flood. That really open my eyes to the point I asked myself "if this part on the bible is not true what about the rest?" Then I learned about Ray Franz books and I asked her to order them. Which see did. The rest is history. Thanks for being the biggest Apostate I know. Love You. Totally ADD

  It's the same old, same old stuff they have talked about since I was a kid. Think about it! First the Wt. article on Apostate's. Now everyone in the cult are good and scared. Second, this article on the UN and how the big A is going start and everyone is going to die. This is nothing more than pure mind control to keep the flock in line. Most cult members to not see pass their nose. They can only see what they think is happening only in the the area they live. This statement about the UN bringing a total destruction to all relgion is nut's. When I was in the cult many of our friends thought this only meant christendom. They didn't even think about all the other major relgions. When you really start thinking about what the Wt. statement says you can see how dumb it is. The real truth about all they are saying is to scare everyone with their mind control. Totally ADD

  frank was concerned that they might be dumping them in the woods or something so he wanted me to check it out.. i had a hard time convincing h and h to let me join them in service, finally i dropped a few hints that i was a pretty laid back brother who didn't always follow wtbts policy......... which wasn't far from the truth.

  Giordano great story. I remember reading this 2 years ago. Sounds just like I would think the wilds of PA was like back in the 1960's. I wish I was as smart as you to have left this cult back then.   first they take your childhoodthen they take your familyfinally they take your memorieswe all know that you limit your social interactions so you have few school friends who are not jws.

  they openly promote this in their magazines and it's repeated at meetings throughout your formative years.

  i got a really lengthy pm from a poster i don't know, scolding me for saying there is a difference between rape and religious abuse.

  i recently had a conversation with someone who says eating oysters is vegetarian.

  when i pointed out it isn't, the person said we all have different definitions of vegetarian.
