That uncomfortable feeling you would get when you walked into the KH wearing a shirt without a tie and jacket, or just carrying a bible without a bookbag... It feel just like going to school out of uniform. The looks alone made you want to be invisible. Yes... I would definitely agree on indoctrination and mind control.

You are correct in your comment Mr. Falcon. The brass must have had spectacular accesible quarters within a few steps of the convention... but I would think that the hotels probably paid back to the $ociety a couple of percentage dollars for all of the business brought to them by packing their hotels. This org surely knows its way around money and how to generate it. Just a thought...

there probably is no elegant way of presenting the hundred year long failure of the end to come; the fact that the "short period of time" of satan being cast down to the earth has now stretched beyond any credibility.

OMG... @stuckinamovement... They way the you wrote your definition... I felt like I was reading it right out of a JW publication. It brought me goose bumps. That is exactly how I expect them to react upon reaching 100 years of failed profecies and destroying lives. But, they could also ignore it and make believe that it doesn't matter. Thanks for the 10 seconds of believing that you are a part of the writing department. LOL!

Help! I need sane people...
by lostinthought inlatley i have been telling some of my family members that i don't beleive anymore, i had my mom especially not really beleiving either...then today's special talk scared her into submission to the wt society.
i guess the brother started crying during the part when they were telling inactive people to come back to jehovah.
she now says she's going to be a regular auxillary pioneer and that she's not going to give up on serving jah now cause she's afraid she's going to die.
