J-Dub Gossip: How Do/Did You Handle It?
by DarioKehl inperhaps the biggest fear i have of leaving is the ensuing gossip that will follow.
i know it's stupid to worry about what will be said about me once i'm "out," but it kills me inside.
of course, that doesn't mean that i don't already deal with my fair share of gossip as it is while still "in.

This is a long story....So I will cut it as short as I can, so sorry if it sounds blunt...hahaha... My husband and I were reproved while we were dating.......Can you guess why?? hahaha. Anyway, a few months later we said to hell with it and got married.. 8 months from time I had been reproved I found out I was having a baby..We were already married when this happened and didnt tell anyone at 1st but you know how things get around so one day at the meeting a sister grabed my arm (so hard she left a bruise on me) and she demanded to know what date my child was concieved....I just looked at her and said it wasn't from before because I would have to be 8 months along.......I would have been showing. I was 110lbs Im pretty sure everyone would have known if it was from before. So this sister went on to tell me that she was told it was from before and wanted no part in the baby shower if it had been... I just thought how stupid are these people if they cant even do basic math. They were so cought up in the scandel that my baby was not concieved while I was married that they couldnt even see facts right infront of ther faces...
Another time I was pulled in the elders room because I sat in the front seat with an Elders son and some people thought that it was not right since we were not dating. We were out inservice.. and no one came to me they all ran right to the elders...
I have so many stories. People must really love me because they sure love to make crap up about whats going on in my life. I must be pretty awesome if they feel the need to do this... hahahahaha..
Sorry about what you had to deal with. Its crazy what people will say because they are board with their on lives.

my story....
by losecontrol inwell i am new to this, and i must admit that at first i was very opposed to this site.
i grew up being a witness and was warned about looking into apostate things, which is exactly what this site would be that they are referring to.
i always tried to live my life the best that i could under the societys control, and never really got to have any life experiance at all.

I think you should give your wife space and let her do what needs to be done. Everything in life takes breaks....Everyone needs to recharge and rethink their life from time to time. If its meant to be it willwork out. If not stick to what you believe in. Do not give up on your religion just for keeping you wife....I kno wyour not doing that just make sure you arent, deep down. You dont want to lose your family and your religion all at once.

Elder book....Not the shepared
by itsbeenalongtime ini remember a friend of mine telling me that her husband had a book that were used byt elders only....i am not sure if this is the same book as the topic posted before..but i was wondering if anyone had a copy or knew where i could get a copy.
i am talking about the book that has all the experiences of what to do in a judicial meeting.
i remember when i had mine i could hear one of the brothers reading it and at the end he said those brothers found it grounds for a disfellowshiping..however i was df'ed..but i know that no one is allowed to read it but the elders and for some reason i do not think it is the shepard book.

I meant to say I WASNT DF'ED.........
I just remember hearing them reading about a sister that was asked to be removed from the congergation because of what she had done and this brother was reading word for word what she had done...but it never gave names. Any x Elders know what I am talking about? I know this sounds crazy because I guess no one has heard of this book. I know there is a book....Where can I get a opey of the Shepherd Book, I will read it to see if it is the same but but im sure its not because I have looked it over before and I didnt see anything like what I heard. My friend new of a site that had this book on it and that is where I saw it but I never was able to read teh whole thing. Thanks

Is anyone here doing April's 30 hour Auxillary Pioneer Special ?
by RubaDub ini know there are many active jw's here and was just wondering if anyone is going to take advantage of april's special of only 30 hours for the month.. i actually might, just to irk some of the elders that can't figure me out in their minds.. it would involve 2 long days ... that's it.
even i can go out in fs in the morning with the group and hang out at bus stops and train stations the rest of the day.. i am really tempted.. rub a dub.

I have been handing in time for almost a year that has been false....I say about 15 - 30 hours each month...I go out one day a month and do one or maybe 2 doors.........No one has ever asked me about it. I signed up to do the 30 hours for April too because at the time I was still debeting about weather I should leave or not. The Elders in our hall talk about it non stop..They are looking to see who does it and who doesnt...and you know the people thet dont are the "bad"ones.. Its so loving I would vomit.

Favorite Quote?
by Snoozy ini saw this on someone's facebook and thought it would be a really fitting response to certain people... "people like you are the reason people like me need medication".

by diamondiiz inwhat is stopping gb member from syphoning some cash to some offshore account and disappearing from brooklyn to live a good life?
i don't believe that all gb members believe all the shit found in their publications but if they could get their hands on some money couldn't they just disappear?
since ray franz has died i can't email him this sort of question.

My husbands grandfather is in charge of taking the money to the bank and doing all that kind of work... and he has to make sure everything is just so!! He gets talked right away if he even makes one tiny mistake. Believe me all the elders are wathing the cash flow. However if there is a will there is a way...So Im sure someone could steal something and take off anytime they really wanted too. I doubt they would call the police either...So if anyone is planning to steal, the kingdom hall maybe the best place! hahahahahahahahahahahaa
