  hello to all my friends, .

  the fifth estate will be rerunning their story on the problems within the jw faith on "sept 3 /03 at 9pm.".

  i know that some of you missed it last january, so now you will have a chance to see the program, they will be following it with an update on my trial and how the jw's are coming after me for costs.

  last week my lawyer appealed the judges decision , based on the fact that we are not sure what will happen with costs.

  now that we have appealed, the watchtower also cross appealed with 10 pages of why the "judge erred".

  looks like this has openned a whole can of worms.

  canadian justice coming to an end this week, hopefully

  to all who have been following my lawsuit against the society here in canada, the judge is to make her decision this week.

  it has been a long 8 months since the trial, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that she makes the right decision when it comes to protecting the children (and myself) from the wrongs of the society.

  we have not heard yet if she needs more time, so friday is the end of her extension.

  i have just reading a great book by sylvia brown, the other side and back, and i found a very interesting quote i wanted to share with all of you.the quote best describes the jehovahs witnesses and the abuse i suffered.. sylvia brown says.

  "cults and abusive relationships have a lot in common.

  they thrive in isolation and secrecy, which promote control and dependency and systematically eliminate alternative places for the cult member/abused to turn.

  each of the doctors accepted the truth of what they were told by c.c.

  40 mrs. c. testified at trial that she treated all four children the same.

  this is a difficult thing, abuse.

  its takes years for abuse victums to come to terms with the abuse.

  what i don't understand is how family members can treat you as if you were the abuser.

  i do want to know which bethel you are stationed at and how long it has been since you stepped outside the walls of the compound.

  Canadian trial ends......almost.....thanks to all

  i wanted to give everyone who came to my trial a great big "thank you".

  it was a very difficult 2 and a half weeks.

  the support from this board was overwhelming.

  help, i need info for trial

  i need to know where abouts in the jw books does it say that you must obey your elders, and that if you don't listen, you can be disfellowshipped.

  at the trial on friday, the head of bethel said that no one in the organization could be disfellowshipped for not following elders commands.

  i know its written somewhere, and i have only today and tomorrow to find it.
