FatFreek 2005: Are you from Ohio? I think I might have known you in the '60's.

these are some questions that i ask the jehovah witnesses.
i hope you find them useful .
disclaimer: these are questions i found on the iternet and from other sources of research.
I remember those days! We were so excited, looking forward to living in Paradise. As Americans, little did we know we already lived in Paradise compared to most of the rest of the world. We were not among those who went recklessly into debt, but I did get rid of a lot of stuff, including, unfortunately, my daughter's tricycle, which she has never let me forget.
When 1975 came and went, we were told we were on the open sea now, with the last buoy behind us, that 1975 could have been off by a couple of years or so. Then, in 1979, I started to realize that I might get old in the real worls. I needed education. I needed something to look forward to. I was over 30, and panicking about what might be ahead of me for the next 50 years or so.

hi guys,.
i am so out of touch with tv shows and i have got a lot of catching up to do.. some-one suggested dexter and it was fantastic and what an ending.
really loved it.
just started reading her expose of scientology.
while it is shocking to say the east the similarities to jw cultish practices are equally shocking.
just wondering if anyone else is reading it..
if you found out after you die, you had a guardian angel.
watching over you, your entire life.. there are moments in my life i don,t care to think about.lol.
your guardian angel, ok folks this is jam one nite after consuming.
Compared to most of my relatives, I'm a saint. So I would not care if they saw what I've done juxtaposed against what they've done. I do feel sometimes that I do have a guardian angel or some invisible being or entity looking out for me. I have survived many rough patches and come through basically unscathed except for some emotional scars.

i really think that staying "in" just for family and friends is doing a number on my health.
i am currently in therapy for the mental part of all of this but i am phsyically sick every time i have to get ready to go to the meeting or service.
i get heart palpitations as well.
check out this arriving in april:.
what bible principles apply to the useof cell phones while attending christian meetings and sharing in the ministry?.
for everything there is an appointed time.
i want to share with you, things your husband can demand from you, because, well he is the man and you are not.
i don't know if you have read about jw's sex lives and what is allowed and isn't.. no oral for anybody.
no masturbation for anybody.
My JW elder ex-husband seemed to think I was not entitled to have wishes, needs, or a brain. His wishes should have been my wishes. He ridiculed the idea that Jehovah understood me and my perspective.
My daughter tells me he thinks I'm the devil incarnate, but still believes I am the "smartest woman" he ever met. Apparently the smartest woman is inferior to the most ignorant man. Once we had an argument about math (I was helping him study for his GED), and he argued that a male co-worker of his had told him differently than what I was saying. The male co-worker was taking classes at some proprietary college. So I became uncharacteristically loud and angry. He was shocked, and told me I didn't "have to go 'stock' raving mad.
But I did need to. And I did. And, eventually, I left.
It's all about me.

we are going to do some real quick math here, very simple math.
we have established that elders are not appointed by god, that is done.
there are people on this message board that (i do believe) who have said that they basically smooched ass for a few months and were appointed ms (same holds true for elder just more ass smooching).
I have known several elders (in the distant past, but I'm sure this pathology has not changed) who would never rise to a high position anywhere else. They were semi-literate and ignorant, not able to understand (or even read correctly) their talk outlines. Sadly, most of the members of their congregations (or other congregations) didn't even perceive the problem. Maybe that's one reason they don't encourage education, i.e., so that their members won't be able to tell that their leaders are a bunch of ignoramuses. So sad.
