  i wrote this about 4-5 years ago as i was pulling myself out of the jw's.

  it's not great but it has it's moments and it makes me smile.

  Question about Inactives.

  is there anyways the society benefits from counting me as an inactive?

  up until i had this thought i was content to just walk away.

  i don't really care what actions they take about me since they lost any authority with me long ago.

  have you noticed that god's name seems to be getting shorter and shorter in magazines and in witness talk??

  it went from grand titles like "the heavenly merciful sassified one" to "jehovah god" and now "jah" it's jah this and jah that.

  it's like the witnesses have been taken over by rastafarians.

  Life Story

  well i was born and raised in calcutta in 1899. my father was a snake charmer and my mother the adulterous wife of a wealthy importer/exporter.

  the years passed slowly and my father slipped deeper into the alcholic haze that was his life, forcing me at the tender age of 13 to take over the family business.

  numerous hospital visits later i decided this was not the life for me and leaving my father behind i set out to conquer the world.

  Eulogy

  he had alot to say.. he had alot of nothing to say.. we'll miss him.. so long.. we wish you well.. you told us how you weren't afraid to die.. well then, so long.. don't cry.. or feel too down.. not all martyrs see divinity.. but at least you tried.. standing above the crowd,.

  he had a voice that was strong and loud.. we'll miss him.. ranting and pointing his finger.

  1984

  just read 1984. i'm sure it's bean beaten to death, but besides being an excellent book, the similarities between the "party" and the witnesses is alarming.

  anyways, if you haven't read it you should.

  not because of the similarites but because it really is a fantastic book.

  Falling asleep at meetings

  once i fell asleep at the meeting.

  the melodic drone of the worker bee on the platform filled my head with z's.

  i fought it's clever machinations, with figurative tooth and nail i clawed at it's relentless apathy.
