  to the body of elders in xxxxx.. .

  i no longer wish to recognised as one of the jehovah's witnesses due to the fact that i no longer believe that this 'organisation' is truly representing him because :.

  i have experienced greater and unconditional love/friendship with the people i am supposed to hate 'worldly people' than i did in this congregation.

  i don't plan on writing a letter, but if I did I think it would be for the sole purpose to plant seeds into those that might read it.

  A few things that I would include would be a reference to Steven Hassans, Combatting Cult Ming Control and also a reference to "Cognitive dissonance" and how it would apply as far as doubts that have crept up and how CG made it possible to put it aside or dismiss it as a "Jehovah will reveal it in it's own time"

  I clicked over and read your DA letter levingwt and it is well thought out.

  How long do you want to live?

  so the oldest man in the world, a japanese, has just celebrated his 115 birthday.. i was reading the other day that life expectancy in my country is around 78.2 today,.

  that half the people born since 2000 are expected to see 100 years old, and that.

  the first person that will live to 150 years old, is already alive.. so how long would you like to live?.

  how do you explain david's graphic portrayal of jesus' death by crucifixion (psalm 22) 1000 years before christ lived?.

  how do you account for the odds (1 in 10 to the 157th power) that even just 48 (of 300) old testament prophecies were fulfilled in jesus christ?.

  in what sense was jesus a "good man" if he was lying in his claim to be god?.

  so this week was stressful and emotional.

  my husband's witness family found out that we where not attending meeting anymore.

  she stated if "i keep talking like i am i'm going to get myself disfellowshiped.

  I would not go directly there from here and then do a look up for your own hall to see if it is listed as,I'm not sure, they can tell what site you just came from and then possibly link that to your search of a particulat hall.

  I'm just saying that technology is moving forward and this might be possible.

  Any more tech savvy people have any input on this?

  now if "life" starts without blood, then is life really in blood?.

  What about the Hebrew Law where if a struggle happened and a pregnant woman was injured and the baby dies, it would take a life to make up for that babies life. Does this not show that the Hebrews viewed a unborn baby as already alive and as valid as a grown adult?

  I have heard the blood as to what you can take and can't take explained using the Ham sandwich as a guide to show that you can eat all parts of a ham sandwich, just not all of them together. Where as you can take into your body all fractions of blood, just not at once.

  Is this true according to WTTS policy? I had heard that you cannot take platelets but am not sure at this point.

  I would like to use the Ham sandwich explanation but do not want to be caught off guard.

  i have been on this site daily, almost from its beginning, since i left the jws in 2001, but i have been more of a reader than a poster, as you can see from my post count.

  i know few here know me, although i know many of you through reading your posts.

  maybe it is not right to ask for support, when i generally stay quietly in the background of this forum, but i want only to speak a human misery of the deepest kind.

  I can see a new job for some JW that will convince other Jws that their house might be laid out, even accidently, in a Feng Shui pattern and for a fee, they will come in and "re arrange" the furniture in the house so that it is anti-Feng Shui.

  You know, so the demons do not feel at home.
