Any Ex-JW's in the Nashville TN area?

however, we are hoping to meet others that have left in and around the nashville area.
we are in our 30's and have two small children, however age really doesn't matter.

Since the entire WTBTS Publishing Co is a sham anyway, it would be easy to do this. All the forms are on the Net. Letterhead takes 5 minutes. Most halls use a local P.O. box now.
Just "move" states and "re-instate" yourself, then fade without turning in time- if your family is out of contact with the brothers who D'fed you. Unless you get "appointed" to something no one will know or care. This was not uncommon in years past, before the original judicial commitee had to OK the re-instatement.
When I was at Bethel, a guy who had left his family, got d'fd, and fell off the radar in one state came trotting through our department on a tour with a new family as an Elder. He had switched his first and middle name, and became "interested" when a hot sister called at his door. He "rapidly progressed", married, and was appointed an Elder (by Holy spirit). (hummmm he had never divorced wife one or paid child support). Problem was one of my co-workers had been an elder in his old hall.......best laid plans of mice and men....:)
People get bogus College degrees every day. Just stay away from your old elders....it IS a big world.
...or if a person is willing to stoop to a such a shamm to see family, just tell the elders what they want to hear, get re-instated, move, and fade.

Wondering about this Child abuse thng,How do I file a case?
by aquagirl inkinda wondering about this,because our p.o.used to take me,and probably other young girls out,alone,in field service,and let his penis hang out of his pants.i was so young,that i really wasnt sure what it was.being raised on a farm,and slaughtered many animals,i though it was some sort of entrail'..i know,ignorant country girl.this happened for years tho..another girlfriend had an elder try to touch her on several occasions,and was publicly reproved when she told her mum{a devout jw} about it...not looking for any money,but it would be nice to get all of them.the guy that i had my issues with had an airplane and always counseled others on materialism.my brother got 'counseled'by this clown, because he put an 8track in his car!!

1. Find his full name. Correct spelling. Aprox age. Height. Write down everything you and others remember about him, his family and friends. His old address. Hobbies. Year he moved in and out. Write down all your memories. Check his old home on google and zillow. Jog your memory and write in down in a few pages so an officer or an attorney can follow your story, and ask the right questions.
Google his name. Facebook his name. Do a White pages name look-up on line.
Even if statute has run for you, he will have more recent victims. If you need help, PM me.

The "Secrecy Policy
by Celestial ini've given this recent lawsuit quite a bit of thought and come to sound conclusions.
after examining other organization's child-protection policies (namely churches), what i've come to realize is there's a one-size fits all solution that's socially acceptable; all information obtained through witnesses and confessions by organizational personnel is be used to aid and abet law-enforcement.
there's no in-between or anything short of this objective that's socially acceptable.

Was the Verdict of the Candace Conti lawsuit a Win-Win for the WTS?
by rip van winkle inwhy did the wts not try to settle this lawsuit before going to trial as they had so many times previously?
was it presumptiousness on the part of the society's lawyers and gb?
had this been settled it would have hardly caused a whimper.. it got me to thinking that although the verdict of $28 million is unheard of, it may actually further the wts to make their claims that they are the only true religion.. reason being- if the monetary award is overturned then they will say it was jehovahs will.

Big Loss. Did you notice the token amount of money she sued for...1,444.00? WTBT$ has been lumped together with all the other molest cases this week..in the press..and in the public's mind. You can not be the "shining beacon on the hill"..as a child molester..even prisoners want to kill them ..lowest of the low in the criminal world. I used to be able to travel as a Bethelite in the toughest neigborhoods in NYC...as long as they knew I was a JW..I was respected and left alone. I wonder if that will be true for Bethelites NOW ? If would think twice about what I ate or drank this week if out in service...AND I would take my badge off if eating out after a convention. A dash of spit, dish soap, or something else might be in the food depending on the servers experience with JWs and world view.
