13What's the Strangest Dream You Ever Had?
by Perry ini just woke up from a dream where my girlfriend and i were testing a new spacecraft for nasa.
the new craft could achieve near orbit on it's own power and speeds of 18,000 miles per hour.
my girlfriend seemed very impressed that i could fly the craft and was astonished that i was a nasa operative.

No Escape from Religion - Am I wrong?
by Perry insince every culture ever studied has been shown to possess religious practices aka.
spirituality, the axiom: "culture doesn't exist apart from religion" would seem to indicate that popular ideas concerning the non-religiosity of athiestic tenets are merely fictional.
i have always been amused by the propaganda the non-deists (and sometimes deists as well) use to spin their ideology.

The Ring of Truth
by Perry inwhile i was a sociology major i was busy putting together many things from the great thinkers of the world, weber, marx, kierkegard etc., so that i would be able to intelligently debunk each view.
i read the following piece on h2o and had a very provacative discusion with my professors on the subject.
it was this peice of work that freed me permantly from the wt and put me in the control seat of my own life.. i lost the paper a couple years ago and randy watters was kind enought to post it.

plato - having achieved a state of pure virtue and goodness, the chicken was almost certainly fleeing from the roosters who refused to acknowledge the value of a platonic relationship.. applewhite (heavens gate cult) - because the chicken having been planted as a seed by extraterrestial intelligence long ago, and seeing an approaching speeding truck, suddenly had an awakening and desired to be freed from its earthly container to be united with the mother ship.. bill clinton - that depends on what your definition of chicken is.
furthermore i deny all knowledge of that chicken!

First Post Musings
by Perry inthis is my first post and i must say that i have been lurking here from time to time and have been impressed with the content.
back in college i visited the old h2o site many times and this is definitely superior.
thanks to all for the rich content i've been enjoying.. my great mother was a witness making me a fourth generation.
