If anyone has never hurt a friend at one time or another - that person has no friends.
We ALL say stuff we wish we hadn't, and sometimes we say something without thinking something through. A friend tends to forgive & forget - but then ya gotta take your lumps from lessons learned and go on, and forgive yourself.

Nervous.....
by Xandria inwell folks it is an hour before zero hour... my husband and i are to go on the radio to discuss the cemetery.
wbt radio ~ i am a bit nervous.

Camping Fest - June 2004 - Canada
by pettygrudger inokay guys - planning my summer vacations and i wanna know - can we make this happen or what????.
decent campgrounds fill up pretty quick, so i'd like to look into some.
i know nova scotia & ontario are many moons apart, and there was discussion of 2 separate fests.. if there are 2 separate ones, owens sound area, ontario has some pretty cool campgrounds.. who's in???

Cry for help from Dallas posters
by outnfree ini don't hardly know where to begin.. some of you are aware that i have a cousin living in the dallas/ft.
worth area with whom i stayed during this year's apostofest.
a few of you are even aware that she was in remission from 4th stage non-hodgkins lymphoma after experimental treatments.

27393 Days... what are you doing with them?
by Elsewhere ini did some simple math realized that if a person lives 75 years they only get 27,393 days.
not very many days when you stop and think about it.. i've already burned through more than 11,322 days... almost half.
what are you doing with your 27 thousand days?

Well, I know what Elsewhere is doing with them - walking around with a tee-shirt that says "Man Ho = $20.00"
Seriously though, very sobering thoughts Elsewhere. I remember a thread by Teejay regarding the Marbles in the Jar, and how we should remember to appreciate and live the time we have on this earth (at least this go around).
I spent today cleaning house, playing with my children & quality time with hubby. I couldn't ask for a better day.

Walter - one with swimming, a playground (for the kiddies), fishing & hiking would be perfect
(course if it has a swimming pool/hot tub combination - even better!

I got the job
by berylblue inthanks so much to everyone for their support over the past weeks.. .
tim interviewed me every night this past week in order to get me ready.
it was grueling and i was in tears (not due to any pressure from him, but because of my own inadequacies); i've relied in the past on my personal warmth and integrity to get jobs but really needed to learn how to answer difficult questions.
