  Thanks for your reply.

  In every case of molestation that was reported, it is reported to the elders. In every case where there are now lawsuits, the elders are named as co defendants. So if there is a coverup of any kind in a reported case it involves the elders.

  When I found out my daughter was molested "by an elder" I went to the -elders- and they finally had five women who charged this elder with some kind of sexual misconduct. When it was decided to do nothing to this elder and leave him preaching from the pulpit it was decided by the -elders-.

  When I told the -elders- that this has damaged my daughters faith in the wbts, the -elders- told me it was up to Me how my daughter viewed this. So now I am supposed to be responsible for my daughters view of the organization. Not the -elders-.

  When I began to protest to the elders about the lack of action on their part, it was the -elders- that in effect told me to shut up and be quiet about this.

  I am at a loss as to how you can come to the conclusion that the elders are not involved fully in any coverup.

  I agree with The effort to contact the UK jw's headquarters.

  Even though this may not succeed it is another piece of evidence "documented" on the lack of concern for the children in the jw congregations.

  This will be one more piece to demonstrate to the world the intransigent attitude and policy of the wbts & gb. Showing to all, the arrogance and lack of caring about protecting children from pedophiles.

  What makes elders different?

  Most of them were ignorant arrogant axxhoxxxs, most of us are not.

  Most of them enjoyed lording it over others, most of us do not.

  Most of them were not forgiving or understanding, most of us are.

  Most of them participated in hiding pedophiles ,most of us did not.

  Most of them did not know the bible well, many of us do. Except for me.

  Why does God Let evil and hurt to his creation happen?

  Could it be that he just does not care?

  Did he put us here on this earth and leave us on our own? To find out for ourselves how to live with one another and not foul up?

  I have often pondered these things and I have no answer.

  No one else has an answer that makes any sense.

  I got to the point where I no longer care. God can do as he pleases and I will live my life as I please and if that is wrong? Well too damned bad.

  Please reread my post.

  It is not self martyrdom when the shunning is imposed by others on ones self nor is it self martyrdom when the refusal of blood or of organ transplants are imposed on children by their parents. Nor is it self martyrdom when the actions of others "shunning" causes the mental stress resulting in suicide by others. These policies are required and enforced by the wbts.

  I did not state that the majority of jw's would kill if told to. I stated that some though not all would do so.

  For a time a blood transfusion was acceptable. Then the wbts forbid its use and almost all jw's went right along with this change. Even when it costs lives.

  For a time an organ transplant was acceptable. Then the wbts forbid this also and almost all jw's went right along with this change. Even when it costs lives.

  For a time shuning was not an enforced policy. Then the wbts made it an enforced policy and almost all jw's went right along with this change. Even when it destroyed families.

  For a time there was no df'ing. then the wbts made this an official policy and almost all Jw's went right along with this change. Even though it destroyed marriages and families and caused suicides.

  It seems that there is no limit to what some jw's will do to please the wbts. Even when it is dangerous and destructive. Including the loss of lives.

  So would some jw's accept and act on a wbts policy to kill its oposers? Even though it would involve

  the murder of others. It seems, based on previous conduct that some though not all would do just that.

  The prediction of possible acts by people can best be made by looking at their past actions.

  This does not require a college education to understand.

  Keep in mind that the needless loss of life-the destroyed families-the destroyed marriages- the suicides were often triggered by family members to other family members. So what would these same people be willing to do to those outside of their family??.

  What would I do if I was suddenly rich?

  I would get all of my family that shuns me out of debt and watch the responses or lack of same.

  I would do the same for the ones that do not shun me and watch the response or lack of same.

  I would help my children with trusts and some other deserving people.

  Then like LB I would piss some of it away.

  Then I and my wife would do what ever the hell crossed out minds.

  Then like LB I would piss some more of it away.

  Seeking advice on official DA

  for a very long time, i have held off on making my departure from the jw's official (though, i am as far removed from them as i can be) because of my mother.

  i did not want her to feel she must shun me when there would be no one to replace my presence in her life.

  this was for practical reasons as well as well as emotional.

  Reforming the IREFORMABLE?

  january of 2000 was my first real 24/7 exposure to the internet and ex-jw sites.

  it was thrilling to read the real life stories of others just like myself, who had escaped the watchtower.

  the affirmation of my own conclusions regarding the truth, and its so-called faithful and discreet slave.

  Hi Danny.

  I think reform and the efforts by some to cause reform are acceptable. This as others have stated would bring a measure of freedom and protection to the jw's that they do not now enjoy.

  Short of destroying the wbts, "which I doubt would happen" and since I still have children and relatives in the borg. I would like them to realize the benefits of this reform. Rather than risk my family dying from blood issues etc. Then we can continue to work on getting them to see the other evils.

  This does not mean that I would in any way support the reformed jw religion but would continue to advocate its downfall.

  Even getting the changes on df ing and blood would bring some relief to us apostates and justify our efforts in that area.

  I believe these changes "if they occur" would cause many to leave the religion and lesson its stature in the eyes of many and lesson its income and turn it into another small nonsense religion.

  Then the continuing exposure of their false teachings would continue to degrade any stature they may still have.

  Then, when they are in a weaker position maybe They would fall completely. Although as I stated I doubt they will dry up and go away. There are always enough troubled searching people to be attracted to it.

  JW can refuse DNA test

  a friend of mine told me she saw on "law and order" (television program) that a jehovah witness refused a dna test.he was accused of rape.the court said that since it was against his religion that they could not test him.have any of you ever heard of this?
