  remember the district conventions of yester-year?.

  say at some football ground ... possibly on the terraces on blankets or deckchairs and under plastic sheeting if it was raining (i'm talking about uk assemblies here, lol).

  there would always be a handfull of brothers who would tape record the sessions with the old piano-key tape recorders strapped to the fencing and every half hour or so they would wander down the steps to change the tape or check the batteries (i think it was an excuse to walk around).. c'mon ... own up ... was that you?.

  My mother still does that to this day with the same piano key tape player. oblong black with crome like mesh speaker on top and a handle.
  I don't think she realizes that casset tapes like 8Tracks deteriorate over time. So they are all mush.

  My Father's Funeral

  as many of you know, my father passed away last monday.

  i found out monday evening and flew into chicago wednesday morning, from columbus, ohio.

  my dad's sister mary, and his best friend ed were close by and started handling all the funeral arrangements.

  [I can understand your frustration of finding out those you thought to be a certain way, are indeed not that way. I myself went ballistic on Unclebruce due to a misunderstanding to one of his posts.]

  Maybe that's all it is, I'm going a little ballistic. I don't feel guilty though not at all. I have such a deep seeded hate for deceit and deceitful people when I find out I've been jerked around by the very people who claim to feel the same as I do and after being stupid enough to talk about very personal things to and 'online' no less maybe it call's for going a little ballistic.

  I obviously have a problem with anewperson and who ever else or how ever many else he/she happens to be. There's no way of knowing.
  Accusing every one of being fake may have been a bit of an exaggeration on my part, Obviously I would not think that unless I believed that I was the only person surfing the inernet to visit this forum.
  It has been building up and the right button was pushed at the right time.
  If I knew who was real I would be more then happy to apologize and sincerely, not just a surface apology. Since you have at least had enough insight to reply with an opinion that appears to be more real I will just assume you are real and offer an apology to you, one real person to another. That for me is definitely ground breaking. Thank you for not being a bitch. I do apologize for thinking you are not real or sincere.

  I do think it's a better idea to just go right to the source from now on though and that's what I will be doing.

  I am almost in the middle of CofC. It is a good read. I want to keep my opinions to myself until I can have time to finish it. But even though I'm only half way through it,almost, it has started a whole new direction of thinking for me to explore. The bad expierences I have read in this forum and my own expierences are or seem silly in comparrison. I know there all not, but I still haven't found anything, so far, in his writing that tells me this man is bitter and full of hatred. But then i'm not done reading yet.
  I was so pissed at this site I was going to completely erase all of it from my computer and forget the address. I went to a movie. Saw a darn good movie and came home in a better mood and decided to give one more shot at just weeding through the BS that runs ramped and just stick with reading poster's and only posters who seem real.
  Don't know if you will read this or not but in case you do I do think you are probably one of the real ones.

  anewperson, what a major crock of shit you are. What would you possibly know about being "FOR REAL" I'm the only poster on this entire f**king board who HASENT deceived anyone about anything. You can't say that much So Kiss your own enormous colossal ass for a change!

  I wouldn't be at all surpprised to find out that at least half of you are infact bill bowen. No one on this board has been able to answer ligit q's regarding him but you do manage to get pretty damn defensive when I ask about him. Something stinks. I should have listend long ago before posting in the first place you are all a bunch of FAKES.

  any lengths for a JW girl?

  i've been seeing this shy girl for about 6 months and we've fallen completely head over heels for each but the thing is she's a jw.

  her father is bitterly opposed to our relationship and when i tried to ask his permission for his daughter's hand in marriage, he said no, not until i get a 14 incher.

  i was devastated cos i loved her so much and she was the only woman that really understood me.
