Proof the bible was NOT inspired by god.

one of the first things i did when i was trying to face my doubts about the bibles inspiration was to read it.

as jws we are always told to read daily, but you can't get much sense of context or continuity when you read a chapter or two a day.

so, i knew if i was going to give up on the religion and/or the bible it would only be after i had actually read and researched.

Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53 prophesy many of these events.

Too bad Isa didnt mention jesus or that god had a son ? Why didnt he just say that ?

BTW Isa 53 actually speaks of a lion attacking a mans feet, dishonest translators fix the words to make them seem prophetic. A bit like the Isa prophecy about a virgin giving birth to a messiah

behold, damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap....and behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not.. damascus is the oldest continually inhabited city in the world.

yet, this prophecy says that it will cease to be a city in one night.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Deu 18 says that prophecies must come true int he lifetime of the prophet otherwise he is a false one. I guess all those delayed prophecies must mean the teller is a fraud.

In this case Isaiah is a fraud.

The Book of Revelation and our Time

i know there are not many peterists out there but for the sake of argument all you bible believers, a question for you.

its looking more and more like the book of revelation was written for john's time and not ours.

the number mentioned 666 is more likely 616 for the emperor caligula who put a statue of himself in the temple at jerusalem, and the first verses in the book and the last chapter all say that these thing will happen quickly.

Reveleation is written in code but its simply a mixture of historical record and a wishful vegeance and hope for the destruction of rome. Its not prophecy, its more on the lines of the nonsense rants by muslims when they chant death to america and then tell stories of allah giving themt he victory etc which does happen.

Hitler only killed so many because there were more people on earth in the 1940s than long before. Genghis Khan killed many and wiped out entire nations. They were both bad, one has to win the numbers game, but in the end they are the same monsters.

if one were to poll present day jehovah's witnesses, what kind of a timeframe do you think they have for armageddon?.

do they still discourage higher education despite the fact they've been wrong so many times?.

one more thing about armageddon...how do they think it's going to start?

Ezekiel was a fraud, he made another prophecy that tyre (Eze 26) would be destroyed forever and yet its still around today. Look it up on google earth.

- Deu 18 tells us that frauds will make prophecies that fail. Ezekiel fits this.

I think the real question that needs to be asked is how would they know if you had a missng or crushed testicle when you entered the temple for worship ?

I can only think of one answer, everybody got their balls fondled on the way in and maybe out to make sure none got lost while inside.

WIth all that ball checking you can also check to make sure everyone is circumcized. No wonder the jewish word for sacred also is related to sacred prostitution. No wonder hosea married a whore, this was merely a corporate merger between his temple and her whoring temple business. The same goes for Ruth, she was such a good priestess she gets a special mention as jesus ancestor.

All relgion is fertility worship.
