Over 7yrs as a JW and I just found out I'm not supposed to buy Girl Scout Cookies?

i'm still in the matrix(the truth), but 'morpheus' and his team are valiantly working on a way to get me out.

in the meantime, everyday i am discovering so much about being a jw i never knew, like don't buy girl scout cookies, that i keep asking myself "what have i got myself into".. maat.

really lame for a first post, but i figure i should start some where.

Yes, gosh I remember we were to never buy Girl Scout cookies or be a scout! Yes in the sixties it was part of Satan's organizations.

Boy Scout were just another way if training young people to wear uniforms and prepare them to take orders. Although it has nothing to do with military, they are very patriotic.

Besides they should be spending their time in field service rather than wanting to rule the world by one cookie at a time! joke!

I think it really is good for children! Another missed opportunity!

What do I love about being a JWs?

Knowing that the WTS has been exposed for all of their lies I just love it!

It makes me say thank you YHWH and Jesus for exposing the JW.

Now I know that God can not lie and he calls everyone to come out of the pagan Jehovahs Witnesses.

Yes I love being a Jehovahs Witness just so I can spread the good news about why they are false Christians.

What about non JW girls?

i'm writing my first post here :) long story short, i feel like i'm making a somehow huge effort to be a jw so i started to wish to take a break from the usual jw activities.

here i am making one step further, i guess .. so, what could be , let's say, the strongest reason for you not to date a girl that isn't a jw?

aand eventually going to the next base.

thinking about how this felt awkward to some of us women when a bible student noticed something was "up" if a baptised brother sat in on a study.

had to reference 1 cor.

11:1-16.. i wonder if this irked any while you were still in?.

in today's 'astronomy picture of the day' are clearly shown rotating rings that move at 90 degrees and through each other.

it is celestial, mysterious, entirely possible, and physical.

luminous.

My JW sister left JW husband

after years of looking down on me for not being "in the truth", being told (more or less) that my daughter died because i did not have the "truth" and therefore god's approval.

my sister has, after forty years of marriage and fifty years of being in the truth....left her husband and her dis-fellowshipped son and gone to live with our other sister (who by the way is disassociated).

i am amazed at this turn of events, as i have always been led to believe that they were a fine example of how complete and spiritually protected they were as a family for being in the jw religion.

Not willing to cooperate

just thought i would let you know there appears to still be no change when it comes to assisting the police here in the uk.

i am in the process of pressing charges against my abuser who was and is again a jw.

during my interviews with the police i did not mention jws as it was not relevant to the case, however during one if his interviews he stated that he had been 'punished' by the jws by being disfellowshipped, and now he was a jw again he had 'paid his dues'!.

my heart is heavy as i write this letter.

i have been trying to live my life as best that i can since leaving jehovah's witnesses.

my dad was not a witness and was my rock when i left the religion.

Not too sure how you can handle this matter! I think you need to ignore and not answer anything dealing with your feelings regarding the JW. Apostate question, ignore it. Maybe she will realize to keep her mouth shut on things she does not want to know.

Just let her know about your life and gardening or whatever but deeper feelings and things that wil displease her you can not share. Keep her in the now not in the know.

That is why people want to live through Armageddon because they are the only ones having sex!

Most JW do not understand this doctrine! I had to break the bad news with someone about marriage. He thought if he does not get married before he dies he will get married to a perfect woman after resurrection.

Before reinstatement he had plenty of sex but after reinstatement nothing! It is like a funny bad joke! And the JW are not interested in him! And most ignore him. Too funny!
