  Suicide and This and That .....

  how many of you have really gone through suicidal feelings, when you felt that no-one at all was out there to try to assist you?

  did it help you to be told by so called friends, 'just pull your socks up!

  ' did you feel that such admonition was really daft and stupidly uncaring?

  Suicide ...My son attempted it, he never told anyone about it, he just did it. I think mostly a person who is serious about it does not want help, but only to end the pain.

  Depression feelings of helplessness can lead to suicide.
  A person in this condition does not want words of wisdom about life or some idiot telling him to get layed with some woman or please look at my website etc.
  I agree with TR, that unless you really know the person there is little you can do effectively.
  A suicidal Person is not going to think to himself: "I will just look at this information first".
  A cry for help can be dealt with in a compassionate way, I find that some female posters on this forum are very good with empathy.

  The Ressurection

  if the dead are not to be raised, then let us eat and drink for tomorrow we are to die.. these words raise a challenge to so called christians.. the challenge is this: does your life reflect that you believe in the ressurection?.

  the main thinking of being absorbed in a lifestyle of having a good time is this: you are a long time dead.

  in other words if your life is taken up with having a good time then your ressurection hope is being forsaken.

  The God of the bible credits himself with confusion. He confused the ONE language at the tower of Babel. What a stupid way to solve a problem of government!
  Today Christian thought is only now becoming widespread because man is begining to break this language barrier that God supposedly put up.

  my wife just called me at work to inform me the same 2 elders that paid us a visit the other night stopped by this morning ( while i wasn't home, of course!).

  they said they wanted to talk to her about the way she felt about the organization.

  she basically said the same things i did and they told her that there would be a letter of disassociation read at the next meeting.

  I do not accept the bible as a book from God, rather its been a means of man to wield power over others rather than God.
  I cannot imagine God directing such a book that can be the cause of so much conflict and confusion between humans.

  Those that accept it are bound by its directives.

  besides I was only being controversal with this post to try and "raise some life here".

  if evolution were untrue, how come genetic studies point to an african.

  origin.eg it has been worked that the vesikela khung!

  who live in the western caprivi area of namibia had the oldest 'male lines' in the world(119,000 years approxiametly).. compare that to the approxiametly 6,000 years claimed by watchtower!.

  If evolution were untrue where did we get our Canine teeth from?
  Why do all meat eaters have eyes placed at the front of their faces and Herbivors have eyes at the sides?
  Why is there only one Gene difference between man and ape.
  Why do viruses have the intellegence to outsmart our immune system?
  Why do humans tend to have their beds upstairs rather than on ground level much like apes make their beds in tree tops?

  i have been watching john edwards and his tv programme: crossing over.

  this man is evidently very sincere in his belief that those that have "passed over" to the other side(spirit life) desire to speak to the "living" who have been left grieving for their loved ones.. this man has demonstrated many times, a remarable ability in revealing knowledge of events and relationships peculiar only to those people he speaks with.. he says he recieves these messages in various forms.. .

  i am wondering what sjs take on this is, seeing she claims similar experiences?.
