this is a question my df mother would like me to post for her:.

would it be morally right to go back to the jws, even though she doesn't feel it is god's org?

she would do this in order to speak with her life long friends and her youngest daughter, all of whom are quite emotionally distraught due to her dfing.

It's truly comforting to know there are actually people who do
care about us. You made me cry. I have had no one for years. If
I told my story, no one would believe me, and the few who did would run as far and as fast as they could from the WT org. Believe me, they would never consider going back for ANY REASON-- They are sadistic, and are as someone put it only a money making organization.
Because of my research, I am a great threat to their continuity. I left the org, and after 1 1/2 years, they called me and df'ed me. It does no good to just walk away. I have made great strides this year at ending this so-called religion. Babylon the Great will fall soon. Spin

I feel very sad for your Mom. I understand the hurt she must feel, and it is close to the feeling of death. I will tell you about
me. I left because I did research and was horrified at the incorrect
teachings. I was in the org all my life. Now, I have no friends, I lost my husband, all my children, and you know what? I HAVE THE TRUTH. There is no price you can ever put on the real TRUTH. I would
absolutely never go back. The reason, is that your relationship is
with Jehovah, and how is HE going to view your staying in the real
Babylon the Great? Your influence could help others eventually to
get life by steadfast stance of searching for the answers. There is no life in the KH. I will be your friend, Much Love Spin

So Who's An Evil Slave Then?

in my teenage years, my father elected to serve where the need is great.

the end result was that we upped roots and moved to yeovil in deepest, darkest somerset, cider-drinkin country where most of the locals were yokels.. the tiny congregation, about 30 or so, met in a hired 2 storey hall on the edge of town, a building that had been used by the jw s for many, many years.

the 2 storey building shared toilet facilities on the ground floor.. the first day that we attended a meeting in yeovil was strange to say the least!

The entire 24th and 25th chapters are His answer.

I have a question for you, if you are exJW's, why do you always try to answer everything using the WT line of reasoning? First they never look at the entire setting of the scriptures in question. You must ask yourself in this instance, what questions were being answered by the comments about the evil slave? Then you are off to a good start. Then look up the key words in the original Greek. Try to understand the original meaning not the one the NWT most often incorrectly shows. Most key words in the entire 24th chapter are completely mistranslated. That's most likely why you left
the org. It just didn't make sense. I would give you all the Greek corrections, but so far no one seems to appreciate my efforts. Spin

if you are willing, would you respond, in a nutshell, to the question, "what is the doctrine or belief that the jw's hold that was most instrumental in leading you to abandon this religion?

First of all, I didn't leave Jehovah's org. I disfellowshipped
them. I took Jehovah with me. I started studying in Hebrew and Greek
and found that so many JW doctrines were based on scripture translation errors, I was shocked. When you read the Bible as it is
really written you don't recognize it. It is a real book of poetry, and actually makes sense. If anyone wants a list of translation errors and the references to check for themselves I will be happy to
make a list. Spin

How do the anointed know they are?

how do the anointed jehovah's witnesses become that way.

i heard that somehow their spirit is born along with the holy spirit.

Dear Jayhawk1, My opinion differs from everyone. The life of one of
the 144,000 was somewhat seen in the life of Job. He was tested greatly, and it was done so to show if his love for Jehovah was conditional. Ofcourse, we read he never cursed God,etc., therefore passed the test. Well, we read in Rev 12:10 where it says "Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, BECAUSE the accuser of our brothers
has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God."
(just like Job)
If you were the object of Satan's attacks, you would start thinking
you were of the anointed. It would be ongoing until you proved be-
yond a doubt you were worthy. verse 11 says: ".....and they didn't love their souls even in the face of death." If you read Rev 7:3 it says,"Do not harm the earth or the sea, the trees, until after we have sealed the slaves of our God in their foreheads."
I believe when they are sealed, that is death, as they must "follow
Jesus everywhere He goes" And at that point they qualify, the testing
is over.
The 144,000 run in my family, and the HOPE of heavenly life never
was a part of their thoughts. We all believe that Jesus will return
to the earth*** and they will be here doing their job of taking directions from Him to bring the earth back to perfection, a big job.

It's obvious you do a lot of thinking, and studying. But there
are some things you cannot possibly know until certain events occur.
For example, the NAME of the BEAST will become known by media events that have not yet happened. By understanding, you will be one of those few, who are saved because only those righteously dispossed will be able to. This knowledge is going to cause great division among those who love Jehovah.

HINT: read Rev 13:17, which says, "nobody can buy or sell unless they have the mark of the beast" A better, and more accurate trans.

God. And when man no longer sins, the sacrifice is removed. And what is sin? Romans 3: 20 says," for by law is the accurate
knowledge of sin". also, Paul said, in Romans 6:15," Shall we commit a sin because we are not under law, but under undeserved kindness? Never may that happen!!" Therefore all said: sin = not obeying God's law.

God's laws = treat others how you
want them to treat you.

I beg to differ with you on "nobody knows the day or hour".
Read Matthew 24:48-51...It says "if that slave.. should say 'my master is delaying',.... and should beat his fellow servants (etc) the master of that servant will come in a day when he does not expect him, and at an hour of which he is not aware. So the opposit here is that if the slave obeys his master, he will know exactly when HE IS COMING. Also, the word for slave is not masc gender, but neuter. A woman gives birth to the kingdom. I believe actions of ONE person whom God is guiding, will know when Jesus will be here by the
accomplishments of their work. By the way, now that we are at Matt.
24, the word translated the domestics (verse45),tes therapeias, is actually translated everywhere in the Bible," the healing", not the
domestics.

You also say the above statement,"nobody knows the hour" refers to the second coming of Jesus, not armageddon. Tell me, just what does it mean at second thessalonicans verse7," the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with the Angels of power in a flaming fire dispensing retributive justice to those not acknowledging God, and to those not being obedient to the glad tidings of our Lord Jesus. '????
If this is not armageddon, what is it?

Another point I need to make, when there is no law, there is no judgement.(romans 4:13) The Book of Daniel 12:11, says" and from the time that the constant feature has been removed and there has been a placing of the disgusting thing....." The constant feature, is the
continual sacrifice(see footnote at bottom of Lrg. Brown NWT) of Jesus removed, because it is no longer needed as the laws are being kept by righteous individuals, and the judgement can commence.
Romans 2:13 says, "For the hearers of the laws are not the ones righteous before God, but the DOERS OF THE LAW will be declared righteous."

To put this all in perspective, The faithful and discreet slave,a woman (tes parousia), does the work she is guided to do, that of providing the tree of life here on earth (for healing) for those who obey the commandments (see Rev.22:14 diaglott shows oldest Mss trans.) Righteous persons start keeping the laws, and the disgusting thing that causes desolation is put in place (armageddon)--the flaming fire of Jesus and his powerful angels. People who love God, and obey His commandments find the location of Jesus because they recognize the apostasy, and the man of lawlessness in connection to the woman (parousia) who the mol ties to destroy her and her seed, those who keep the laws (Rev12:17) by publically degrading her personal integrity. Keep awake, the future holds events worth
examining.

Also, Jesus has not fulfilled the Sabbath. The Sabbath fulfilled is God's Kingdom. HIS healing on the Sabbath was a preview of that day. Love to truth seekers

it seems like to me the majority of people who are in the truth, are were in the truth was a result of either a family member are a friend witnessing to them and not many seem to have been found in the door to door work.. from my years of associating with the borg i cannot recall many coming in the truth from the door to door work.. how were you sucked in?

for me it was my aunt who has now even though i am not disfellowshipped decided to write me out of her will to the tune of about $150,000.00 (maybe i should hang around a couple more years)dont think i will.. please respond .

My Grandmother talked to me secretly about Jehovah when I was a todler. She was a JW secretly all her life. I grew up loving HIM,
and the doctrines of the the Society were always secondary. Many
leave the org. because they don't agree with the teachings. I stayed
in because God is perfect, man is not. WE all "grope" to find God, even the Society. I just hope they continue to have an open mind, and keep searching for new things learned.

Colossians 1:15, says, "He (Jesus) is first-born of all creation."Countless references in the Christian Greek Scriptures refer Jesus to being a light. (see Luke 2:27-32, Matthew 4:15-17.

The light that was the first of all creation, was Jesus.
