Back about 12 years give or take a couple of years. In the congeration that I was in there was this family. Dad was a minsteral servant, and mom was an auxleary pioneer. They had a child. This child was very very hiper. Infact he was so much they ended up putting him on medication. At the time he had one true love, and that was drawing pictures. But I think most 4 or 5 years love to draw. So I learned to bring pleanty of note book paper and pencles, because I never knew when I would get the "privledge" of working in the same car group as this child. Any how, one day when the circuit overseer was visiting my congeration. He ended up working with this family and their child. This day they was doing the door to door work. And he choose to go to this door with this child and no other adult. A house holder came to the door, and the CO was trying to give his presentation. Well it ended up that the child went nuts, knocked over a vase and broke it. They (expecially the parents) tried to warn this elders. A little while later, we had an assembley. You would not believe this, but that CO ended up humilating the parents of that child. He told of the congeration that they went to, and what their unruly child did. The poor parents was so humilated. I felt for them, because I knew what they went through. And yes, they did punish their child when needed.

My husband and I was talking today about some things that was said receintly. About a month before my husband and I dissocated ourselves, he called and talked with his mom. By this point she knew that I was doing research on the faulty teachings of the JW's. I was making sure I was doing the right thing. Before I just took people's word for it, and never checked it out for myself. (That was why I mistakenly gotten baptised. I took my mom's word, instead of checking it out.) Any way, you should have heard what she told her son (my husband).
"Please stop your research, the only thing you are going to accomplish is pulling our (her)family apart."Now mind you, when I was checking out every thing, I was double checking everything with the Watchtower's information. Nothing was added, or taken away to what I found, and learned.
When I later thought about what she told my husband, then I could only come to ONE conclusion. And that was she knows that there are false hoods (I like to use the word-LIE!!) to that orgization, but she CHOOESES to inorge them.
Reciently my husband sent her a letter telling her that if she chooses to shun him and I, then she will be shunning her grand children. But we left the door open, that if she wants to visit at our home, then she is welcomed to. But she can not take the children off with out us around. I am hoping and praying that she will actually see with her own eyes what my husband and I have already seen. One thing you must also know about my mother in law, is that she never checked things out for herself either. She just followed blindly, her husband into that religion. And that she never really checked things out for herself. -

FARTING at the meetings
by gambler ini'm sure you all have some good comical stories of pple farting during prayer or other quiet times during meeting.
as a personal experience of mine, the night before i had eaten a frozen pizza, doritos, and some old chocolate milk.
this combination produced the worst smelling brew i have ever had.

Zev had said the best stinkers come from beer and beans. Well yes that is bad, but add jalapeno peppers with that. NOW THAT IS A STINKER. When it comes to my husband, I pretty well figgure that he can give any one a run for their money when it comes to the most smelliest farts. I will tell of 2 episodes.
The first time he farted around me, was the day after we got married. We was both in the car, with the AC on. This was one of those silent ones. But man the odor was so strong, I about puked. Trapped in a car. So all I could do was to roll down the window. I guess that was when the honey moon was over for us. The second time my husband ate beans, jalapeno peppers, and washed it down for beer. I was also about 2 months pregnate at the time. I went to bed and he followed me. We both went to bed. I about dozed off when a HORRIBLE ODOR hit me. God it was my husband. It was very very bad. He refused to go to the couch, so I did. About 4 hours later, thinking it was safe I went back to the bedroom. But he stink it up so bad, I had to leave. I swear it took a couple of days for that odor to eventually leave. That was the last time I ever allowed him to eat that combination ever again.

Lets see how long they will last. I remember a young man, before he became a JW, he was a drug dealer. One day a couple of JW's called on him. He loved what he heard. And very quickly got baptised. As soon as they allowed him to he even pioneered. He went to all the meeting, assemblies, ect... He even met 4 times a day every day, with execption of meeting time. Now you must remember that his congeration is in a Kansas City. So they do go out alot anyhow. Then one day he just disapperared. Later I asked what had happen to him (I was not from his congeration, just visited every so often.) In short, the answer they gave me was that he got burned out. I've seen it quite often when I was a JW.

my daughter's boyfriend is JW!!!!!
by concerned mama inmy 9th grade daughter has an "in school" boyfriend who is jw.
"in school" because she is not allowed to date yet, only go out in groups, and he, of course, is not supposed to be attached to any girl, especially one who is not jw.
he is actually a very nice boy, but he is so confused.

Yes, low key, is the way to go. That young JW boy, sounds just like my husband, when he was his age. My husband was never intrested in the JW teachings. He did get baptised, only because he was forced to. But he did not show him self to be a JW, it was never in his heart. He got into sports, and dated non-JW's. In fact there was this one girl, that he dated for a very long time. It was an off and on thing. They did end up getting ingaged, about the time they was in the 12 grade. But ended up breaking it off. I really don't know all the details other than that. The reason why I say low key, is this way you can still talk to both your child and her boy friend. If you are wondering what position my husband is in now. Well he is dissocated from the JW's and he really hates them, and is very angry. Right now your daughter's boyfriend does not have a choice with his religious situation. But one day he will. How, well that is up to him. But I would not worry, too much, because of their ages.

I am not trying to push my religious ideas on any person in here. Some of you belive in the rapture, and others don't. This is just a story, some will say yes it will happen this way, and others will say this is just a fictious story. I don't mean to offen any former JW's. But what do you think of this story. The names are fictional.
There was a young couple who was raised all their lives as Jehovah's Witnesses. They was at least third genteration JW's on both sides. Their family members are very much in to the religion. They always said that the Watchtower was the true religion, and every thing else was on the devil's side. When Armageddon rolls around, every one not on the Watchtower's side was going to die. And Armageddon is right around the corner, has been that way for over a 100 years. But Ruth and Dan, the young couple, they got to thinking about what the JW's are always preaching. So they started to do their own recearch and bible study. Not on what the JW's always taught, but with questions, their own. One thing led to another, and Ruth and Dan, both decided that the Watchtower was not in aproval of God. They learned of so many things, that other former JW's learned. They talk to each other, and decided that they could no longer be part of an orgization that did not have God's blessing. Well it ended up that they dissocated at the same time. That was when the fan hit the ceiling. Their JW relatives got very angery at Ruth and Dan leaving. They was told the most hateful things that could be said. These was just some of things that was said to them:
You are going to be very miserable.
Your marrage will fall apart.
I am no longer your parent, you are no longer my child.
I will shun you, until you come back to Jehovah's orgization.
You are dead to me, because you will die at Armageddon.
Even some of the JW relatives even cussed at the young couple. But that did not deter them. Yes they was very sad that their relatives now turned their back on them. But they were not detered. They found other people who was going through what was going through. With this group of former JW's they was able to heal from the pains that was caused. Every one was serving God the way they knew how, and that was in many different branches of religion. With Ruth and Dan, they decided that it would be best for them to stay in the Christian religion. They ended up getting saved, and baptised in a church. After that point in their lives things kept getting better. Their marrage got stronger, and they got happer. Their children was very happy living this new life. All through this they never gave up contact with all their friends who was former JW's. They even gained new ones through the years. Then one day they just dissappeared. Many people dissappeared with out a trace. They was raptured up to heaven. Things was really crazy. You could just picture the mess things was in.Now back to the JW relatives. They was really angry and hurt when Ruth and Dan turned their backs on their religion. But they stuck to their guns. They knew with out a doubt that Armageddon was comming, and they did not want to get caught on the wrong side. So they did as they was told by the G.B. They shunned the young couple. They knew that Ruth and Dan would die, now. So they went on with their lives as normal. Meetings, FS, Assemblies, ect. They was just waiting for the day Jehovah would turn his anger on all those worldly people, and those who turned their back on his orgization. Every so often Ruth and Dan would try to make contact with their relatives, and to warn them that they was on the wrong tract. But they never bother to open any letters, phone calls- they hung up on them.
It was time to get up and get ready for field service. The JW relatives did this every day, on Saturday morning. They felt it was very important to warn people that God would some day kill every one that was not a JW. They never used those words, but that was what they thought in their minds. They all got in their cars and proceeded to head to the kingdom hall. But before they got there, they came across a big accident. So they had to stop, and check out what was going on. They noticed that there was people that was missing. They saw clothes, and personal belongings on the ground It was bad. It was like that every where. The national guard ended up comming out. They told every one who was still there, that they needed to go home. Till they could straighten out this mess. The JW family went home, turned on the TV, and made some phone to other in their religion. The youngest member of the family yelled for everyone to come into the living room. It was news on all the local stations. This problem was not just in their town, but all over the world. For some odd reason, the mother decieded to check on Ruth. She did not know why. It was the mother's instent that moved her. She drove over to Ruth's home. A strange feeling was over comming her. She knocked on the door. The door was not latched, so she walked in. Before this day, which Ruth knew would happen. She was hoping to reach out to her relatives. So she left a letter behind for this day. Her mom read it and this was what it said:
To all my relatives who are Jehovah's Witnesses,
If you are reading this letter, then Dan, the children, and my-self have disappeared without a trace. And so have a lot of other people disappeared too. If I figured this all out, then this is probabley what you have just witnessed. You, more and likely went out to take care of your daily duties, being it your congeration meetings, field service, work, or what ever. But on the way, you noticed something a bit strange. There are cars on the road-crashed, and no drivers. Clothing on the ground, but no people. But yet there are still some who are walking around. You classify them either "worldy", or your fellow Jehovah's Witnesses. From this point onward, I will just use the abbreviation JW.
I remember how you use to scoff at the little old lady next door, because of her belief in the rapture. You would say how she is just in the grave, because she was not a JW. But mom, she is in heaven and so is my family and I.
I had so wished that you would have not shunned me, and my husband for leaving the JW religion. I know you said that you had the truth, and that we have left it. As one a follower of the JW faith, you felt like you would have to endure through some very bad times before Armageddon happens. Well, you have one thing correct, there will be some very bad times before our Lord Jesus Christ will end it all.
I have with this letter, a packet on what you will get to look forward in the next few years. I would suggest to you that you read through that packet. I heard how now after the rapture is over there will be no holy spirit helping out. But I do hope that you take stock of what you belive in now. I guess what I am trying to say is.......well, just read the packet of information that is with this letter. With all my love,
Ruth
It was at this point, Ruth's mother knew. She said, "Oh my God, what have I done." -
