It's a fucking sect, is my conclusion.

he will not pressure her to engage in sexual acts that make her feel uncomfortable, that are demeaning, or that bother her conscience..... the bible does not provide details as to what sexual practices between a husband and a wife should be considered clean or unclean.
a christian couple must make decisions that reflect their resolve to honor jehovah, to please each other, and to maintain a clean conscience.
generally speaking, a couple would not discuss with others this intimate aspect of their marriage..
It's a fucking sect, is my conclusion.

today i read a quote of erich honecker, leader of east germany about hear.
it made me think abount the current "beard" changes at jw.org.. he said "people's hair length is not important.
it is what's in the heads that hair grows on".. gorby.
i was listening to a lunchtime call in radio show about jws and the personal experiences of being disfellowshiped, and a former elder called in saying he was disfellowshiped for asking about jws and their involvement in the un in the 1990s ,and he just said look it up.. thinking that it was a made up lie ,so i looked it up and it was true even a letter confirming it from the un itself and that led me here and to jwfacts and further research into the history and teachings of jw and walked out the door about 5 years ago.

but what they don't say he left started and ran a real estate company and a global real estate consulting firm and apparently after making a fortune come back to bethel a few years ago.
how in the hell could a non lifer now be anointed and appointed to be a gb member.
sure can't be for his spiritual qualifications!.
Was he one of the brains that sold a Brooklyn property to Taurus, an investment vehicle of a JW, that sold it some time later with a profit of 10 milion dollar?
I know for sure that some JW made a huge personal profit of the Brooklyn property sales.

with the statement in the study watchtower this sunday, that stop serving jehovah is a serious sin, the following:.
- can i conclude now, that we, (i, wife and 2 children), since 2008 pomo and no longer active in any religious activity, are serious sinners for jehovahs witnesses?.
writing this in a watchtower, a statement like that, could have big implications.. it makes me so sad.
Phizzy, thats my fear also, therefore this topic.
Feels like something is in the air.

i am writing to ask if anyone cares to share their experience and/or offer advice for people leaving.
i was raised in the religion, and both my parents died when i was very young.
i recently stopped associating because my conscience no longer allows me to preach or support the organization.
Take step by step.
We left fading without burning exsisting relations with some witness. These days you will be surprised how they remain contact, even social gatherings. Just play the bluf game.
There is no direct answer about how to get a new social network. Don't expect a new jw style netwerk where dozens of people welcome you with a fake smile. You have to work for it., except you choose for s new sect style life.
Real friends are rare. Choose them wise.

a change to their doctrine came from jackson.
this isn't a transcript of his whole speech but i thought i would try and get some of his main speech in writing.. at around 1hr26 minutes he starts talking about some dangerous thinking in feeling there is some wiggle room in regards to the schedule for the gt.
but you see, we need to be careful about what we are thinking about the number of anointed ones left on earth.
The guess work on the board is the same we did in private in the 90's.
My conclusion is that jw.org will do their strategy making for their own purpose to survive on long term.
Professor Richard Singelenberg, Utrecht University, wrote a long time ago that jw.org would transform to an "accepted" religious movement. Many changes in the years ahead gave proof to that.
So, people come and go, the society will survive like they did the 100+ years ahead.
