it would sound like they are hinting at a change in thinking.. in my opinion, any such change would be yet another slap in the face to faithful pimis along with those other recent changes.. there are so many heartfelt responses on that thread and a lot of justified anger.. don’t know what to say except that i’m so glad i never listened to the religion all those years ago.

Something funny I found, I’m going through my mother’s things, she recently passed away. I found a notebook, she took notes in from meetings and assemblies. It says, “If your job causes you to miss meetings or field service, quit”. 🤨

Do JWs see the org falling apart?

so i don't know if the jws as a whole are seeing the cult fall apart or if they or the majority of them are head in the sand la la la the end is neigh.

Mike, Tomo said in a broadcast, “We will NEVER change our scriptural policy on disfellowshipping”, in regards to Norway. Well, after he was kicked out of the GB, they softened the shunning, telling witnesses that they could now greet DFd ones. They softened it to get their funding back from Norway. So far, it has not worked. Follow the money, always!

I remember those stories, too! Anything bought at a garage sale was suspect. You had to check if they were selling any games, making sure there wasn’t an ouija board there. If you saw anything like that, you couldn’t buy anything, because their merchandise was demonized. Demons were all around, waiting for an opportunity to “get” an unsuspecting witness. 🙄

So, here I am going through boxes and boxes of old WT literature. I’m stacking it up from 1940’s to 1990’s. I also have quite a few gems, like one 1917 Studies in the Scriptures. Also the old book by Marley Cole entitled Jehovah’s Witnesses, The New World Society from 1955.
i have no room to keep this stuff. I would like to sell everything, possibly by date. Such as, the 1940’s, 1950’s, etc. I would prefer to sell within the continental US. Any takers? If you send me a private message, I can be more specific.
