Haven't read any of the comments yet...just wondering in advance how many times complaints about David, or women not being "elders" will be here?

did you generally have good experiences with the elders ?
we're any situations especially memorable???
pro or con.....
Most of the new breed of elder are exactly like the typical new breed of cop....arrogant assholes on power trips.
i was at a amusement park here in calgary today.
my jw mother and my young brother came to visit for a week,so me and my sister thought it would a nice idea to take them to do something fun.
i guess they had a part of it called hallo street and my mom was getting all sketched out from all the halloween decorations around.
Water "witching".
Some people are abler to do so, others cannot. It has nothing to do with supernatural abilities, it's all natural magnetism. That is why some people cannot wear the older style wrist watch while others have no problem with them. Magnetism of water movemnet, however slight, can make certain objects move on their own.
were familiar with the statements about how a persons claim to be anointed is between that god and the individual.. the governing body went on to say: "a number of factorsincluding past religious beliefs or even mental or emotional imbalancemight cause some to assume mistakenly that they have the heavenly calling.
we thus have no way of knowing the exact number of anointed ones on earth; nor do we need to know.
the governing body does not keep a list of all partakers, for it does not maintain a global network of anointed ones.
Reasonably, any replacement would come, not from among newly baptized ones, but from among those who have stuck with Jesus in his trials through many years of faithful service. The brilliant flashes of spiritual light that came through The Watchtower in the 1920’s and 1930’s indicate that the gathering of the remnant of anointed ones was practically completed during that period.
This quote taken from the March 1, 1992, issue of The Watchtower, page 20, paragraph 17.
I wonder how many years many years would be when Sanderson is quite young and relatively newly baptized?
so i recently heard the following comment from one of the shearers of sheep:.
"one may think they have an effective method of talking to people about the bible, but the fds have given us the proper presentation in the kingdom ministry.
they tell us what to say because that is what works best.
So here is another one just recently heard:
Elderly handicapped male, "I needed help getting to the assmebly. I was unable to drive, so younger sister so-and-so drove my car to the assembly as she had no vehicle."
Elderoid, "That was improper. You should not have been alone with her for the ninety minutes it took to get to the assembly. You should have tried harder to make different arrangements."
Elderly handicapped male, "I did. Everyone else had either left already, or they had other arrangments and could not help me with my vehicle."
Elderoid, " But think about the appearence to others when you were alone with her."
Me, "Yes. You really are much better off missing the assembly entirely than traveling with a sister!" (Said with total sarcasm)
Elderoid, "That's right! Jehovah would have understood." (In all seriousness)
Me, "You never can tell when someones hormones are going to run wild and sex is going to happen." (Eyes rolling)
if you still go to the meetings, i'd love to hear how tomorrow's wts goes down.. i'm sure there will be plenty of comments read straight from the paragraph, a few pauses where nobody wants to comment for fear of not getting it right, and a few completely wrong comments from publishers talking out of their a$$e$ trying to look smart.
.
This ought to be fun! I figure maybe three or four commentors really giving it their all. Gotta brown-nose the sheep shearers y'know! A few as stated beforre read word-for-word out of the paragraph, and most will just sit there in a daze wondering WTH it is all about.
every congregation i have attended this is the case.
i was wondering if this is just a local thing or if it is an unwritten rule worldwide?.
hoser.
Yep, suggestions are rules, unless you are an elder, an elders kid, or soome other brown-nosing ass kisser; then rules are merely suggestions. The same thing with sins. Imperfections are DF'ing sins if you are R&F, but DF'ing offenses are merely imperfections to be overlooked if you are one of the elite!

This from the jerk-off who on more than one occassion would refuse to do things in the KH as instructed because, "We think it would be more convenient to do it differently!"
What are your experiences with assine comments from the fleecers of the flock?
so, service meeting last night.
bro handling the "false prophet" part was notably disturbed.
every time he spoke of previous "expectations" his body language was like "oh my god, can you believe i'm saying this?
I've noticed that different fleecers of the flock (elders) that gave this speech made different and contradictory claims about the professed inspiration, or not of the org.
Much of what they said also goes contrary to what has been printed in the WT handbook mag. So each person IMO should follow the God, the Bible, and Jesus. Using those three one shouldn't go to far astray.
tonight on the service meeting we discussed why jws are not false prophets.
of the ten minute part two were spent discussing that jws just had wrong expectations and only very minor changes over the years although nothing specific was mentioned.
the other eight focused on the core bible truths that have remained the same over the years.
The fleecer of the flock that spouted this locally made it a point to emphasize the term "prophet". JW's have not actually referred to themselves by that specific word, so he could pat himself on the back claiming that JW's never called themselves "prophets" so they could not be false prophets then.
Although he made many referrences to the "fact" they are inspired(?)!
And of course "the light gets brighter". Well I have never yet seen the rising sun as it gets brighter in the morning suddenly change a house into a bird. Or a pickup into a fish. Or a cow into a stock pond. But according to him and the rest of the parrots sitting in chairs answeringg so intelligently that is exactly what happens. The light gets brighter and what was the truth then is a lie now, and what was a lie then is now suddenly the truth!
Oh well, I guess the sun will continue to rise at night, in the west. New light, y'know!
