  most everyone knows we just left town one day to work, and never went back to the kingdom hall.

  Please listen to what jjrizo explained. I'm not saying the elder you spoke of is not a nice guy, but he is being used as bait right now even if he is not aware of it. I firmly believe his visit is the preliminary action to find some way to "get " you and your husband so that they can eventually keep others from talking to you.

  I was an elder for 7 years and the same tactics were used on me when I stopped going. The borg is in seige mindset and elders have been instructed to keep the "flock" away from anyone who questions anything or whose actions might show that they have a "problem" with the organization even if they just quietly walk away from it. I have been told this by a few who were in the org in recent times.And if you read Thirty Years A Watchtower Slave BY Schnell, you'll see they used the same tactics from the 1920's on up. Its nothing new.

  I concur with your points in this because I know of a number of jws here in NYC who even before the molesting thing came to light, have said that they do not trust the elders in the organization anyway and they will not go to the elders to admit anything.

  These same jws commit the wts interpretation of sins on a regular basis and they have expressed that as far as they are concerned, it is none of the elders business. And these jws I'm talking about still go to all meetings and do field service.

  So I do feel that when the pedophilia news filters to more jws, this will make at least some more of them feel that hey! if the gb can sin and stay, so can I.

  Hello Lucidentity,

  The wts never was, is not now, and never will be backed by our Creator. The wts is the biggest fraud of the 19th century, the 20th century, and now the 21st century. There is an abundance of evidence that proves this and most of the evidence lies within the pages of the wts ' own publications, including that piece of crap which they have the audacity to call a Bible, The New World Translation.

  And btw, it will be during this 21st century(sooner than later) that the wts will meet its end. Just keep watching.

  Here's some more proof for your perusal: My sister and her husband who no longer go to meetings except to find out whats going on, went to the convention here in NYC at The Nassau Coliseum this weekend. They told me that the 'brothers' (and I use that term lightly) in the parking lot were instructed not to let you in unless you had a badge. Since my sister and her husband do not go to meetings, they did not have a badge. But another sister who knows them ran back to their car as they were waiting to drive in and gave my brother-in -law her badge. They drove in with no problem. Security Breach! Security Breach!

  So Lucidentity tell me: If our Creator Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ are backing the wts, why do they need such security measures? And why did they allow such a breach of security from so-called apostates? FYI, my sister regularly posts on this board and both of us are involved in activities designed to help expose the fraud that the wts really is.And my sister obtained copies of the new publications for me also which I will gladly use to help wake up more drones from their wts sleep.

  So again why did Jehovah allow such a breach of security if He is really the force behind the wts?

  ANSWER = BECAUSE HE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WTS.HE NEVER DID. AND HE NEVER WILL.

  PERIOD.

  I grew up in the borg, was an elder for 7 years, saw and experienced the corruption on the part of ministerial servants, elders circuit overseers, district overseers, gb secretaries, the legal dept, the service dept, bethel elders, and the entire gb itself. The wts is bullsh*t and the faster you learn that the better off you will be.

  I remember back in 1985 when all of us from the NYC area had to go to Philly's Vet for the dumbvention. It was sweltering and there were definitely reports of people passing out from the heat. The corridors were crowded even during the talks with people trying to stay under whatever roofing there was. But the slavemasters in bklyn don't give a sh*t. There needs to be a general rebellion from within wt walls to protest all the evil treatment.

  Just out of concern, please listen to Metatron and find out EXACTLY what it was about. Elders can be very sneaky and deceptive. Sometimes you don't realize it until you actually experience it. Believe me. I know. I've been through it from elders all the way to most of the GB members. I'm not saying it is more serious than why she isn't baptized, but you can't put any amount of deception as being impossible with the borg and their elders.

  My surreal district convention

  well, i just got back from yet another summer ass-marathon.

  seventeen hours of sitting in hockey arena seats that were made for three hour games, trying to stay awake, while not losing contact with my extremities.. needless to say, the program was dull and boring.

  in fact, i'm not completely sure that they didnt just re-run last year's.

  What you said about the gb missing meetings is true. In 1999 while pursuing justice in my case against them, my brother and I went to the bethel kingdom hall so we could talk to gb members after the meeting. On 3 visits within a months time, the only gb member at the sunday meeting at the bethel kingdom hall was Lyman Swingle. And he was so busy taking pictures with visiting sisters and enjoying their adulation after the meeting that even though we waited patiently until he was through and got to speak to him alone w/o being confrontational, he told us to "just leave".

  You also mentioned the Stanley Theatre in New Jersey. Well my soon to be ex-wife is still a tour guide there and I wondered if you were from New Jersey if you might know her.

  I remember these things you guys are talking about. My family had 6 children during the 60's and I remember my parents would get us up at 4 AM to make the trip to Yankee Stadium for those 7 day assemblies that lasted from morning until night.And you had to get there early enough to get a seat under the canopy or you would burn up during the day from sitting out in the sun. Of course most of the people in the "good" seats fell asleep anyway even snoring.

  I also remember the cafeteria which was set up across the street and where bros and sis' labored over preparing the physical food while missing the 'spiritual food'. And at the end of the assembly these same ones were applauded for all the work they did even though they missed most of the program. I always found that to be kind of interesting. Oh well, maybe a good number of them today now make up the 'apostate class'. :)

  How about the long lines to purchase food tickets and then the long lines to use the food tickets to buy the food.

  I also remember when field service time had to be posted on a bulletin board for all to see.

  What a waste all of this bullsh*t was.
