what happend inn the word now?.

us is the word police doing what they want, putting peopel in prision and bombing innocent peopel,.

and yesterday he come upp widh a crazy idea that other countrys must pay tax on 30% iff they want to sell steel to us, and what will happend, europe must akt inn the same way, perhaps 30% on evry car imported from us, i must say i think this man is a dissaster for us.

One, why do JW apologists feel the need to spell badly?

I agree with you in asking this question. It of course is just a personal thing but I have to tell you it bugs me to death to come on this board or any other board and read comments from people who type like they are illiterate. When I see posts like the one that 'happy man' wrote I wonder if perhaps it is some 6 or 7 year old kid writing. Geez, at least try and attempt to be literate!

would you go out with someone who was not physically attractive if he/she had a big heart on the inside, a great personality, lot's of things in common with, etc...i guess i'm asking what's more important to you the person on the exterior or who he/she really is underneath?.

They Don't Care If It Is Not The Truth

one of my brothers in an elder in his congregation and the other is a co. they have both told me that they don't beieve that jehovah's witnesses have the truth and they are aware of the hypocrisy in the organization but they don't care.

they will never renounce their membership in this organization.

when asked why they say that they love the adulation given to them by the brothers.. the are always the first to be invited to the homes of the friends, they are sought out for advise and it makes them feel like big, important men.. the truth is that this organizaation does serve a purpose for some people.

Fear and guilt

went to a borg assembly the other day.

the only thing i remember is them preaching fear and guilt, fear and guilt.

i heard a jw sister say how she pioneered because she felt so guilty.

Sounds to me like we need to send an elder and a fresh faced you ministerial servant over there to counsel that pioneer sister that she should not be serving Jehovah out of guilt but rather out of love for her creator and fellow man!

Now how about a few return visits and then we hit the donut shop?

Now that I think of it I haven't had a good donut in about 7 years! Course I havn't got no time in either.

here goes...i left the jws, nearly 10 years ago..i was 16 when my hand was helped along by firstly getting kicked out my parents home, (my dad had been an elder but was stood down for various family issues..me being one...and my mum was a ferocious terrier of a doorknocker..) anyway, i as a child was conditioned to please...as all jws are, and thought id give it another go, so went to live with my sister and her family ( jws too)... lasted a year before i got into"worldly hands", and my sister kicked me out... so, i went to share with my brother ( at least he wasnt a jw now, my parents threw him out too)..and got to hear from my dad that mum was dying of cancer, she was terminal...my brother and i grappled with feelings as we still wanted to see our parents and yet constantly had this cloud of ..you not being a jw are killing your mother..and my mum would beg us to come back to the "truth" so we would "live forever", this was my only ever hesitation in leaving the "organization"..and the emotional blackmail that was laid on was enormous....i managed to sit with my mum during all of her chemo treatments( something my 2 jw sisters never did) and she would constantly beg me to come back..i held my ground though it hurt to see she truly thought i was evil and would die at armageddon..my brother bore and still does the worst of this guilt..i managed to hold my ground even after my mum died an excruciatingly painful death and my dad publicly disowned my brother and i...i went to counselling and was told how well i had coped... so i went on to study and meet a great guy..marry him..a catholic!!!

(wg)...but, listening to my brother, just recently... after he went on jw sites.

( he feels he has to have answers to all of it..).

I would say that you are luck to have gotten away. I am sorry about your ordeal with your mother. I too finally made the break with the "blacktower" when my mother died. I had stayed with this ridiculous bunch of mind control crap due to the "guilt" imposed on me by my mother......."how can you break your mothers heart like this", "it just breaks my heart to see one of my children turn their backs on Jehovah", etc, etc, etc. As far as status goes, stay away from them, don't meet with them and don't ever set foot in another dingdonghall.

Is this the beginning of the end?

i have been doing the fade for about a year now from the jw religion.. today i atteneded the service of a non-denominational church and my dub ex-wife's boss was there and saw me.. so i fully expect that by tomorrow that the local gestapo elders will be aware of the fact that i was at another church.

what do you want to bet i will be getting a shepherding call next week, even though i have not seen these loving bothers in many months.

what a joke!.

If I were you I'd start packin my bags bud! I can think of a lot of things that they might cut you a little slack on but apostasy ain't one of them! Might be compared to bank robbery in the U.S., you can kill somebody and after so many years they quit looking for you but if you rob a bank......man they ain't never gonna forget that!

the simple answer is they can keep up perpetually because it is the money!

look the facts of the matter are that the wt is not so much a religion as it is a conglomeration.

As I read many of the posts here I see people asking questions like "how much longer will it be till the WT is put out of business for killing people with their blood stand" or "how much longer can they keep up in light of all the scandals"?

The simple answer is they can keep up perpetually because it is the money! Look the facts of the matter are that the WT is not so much a religion as it is a conglomeration. The WT coporation owns millions of dollars worth of real estate all over the world. They have thousands of people under their mind control that send in millions of dollars to them each and every month. They also have the cream of the crop in positions of authority in the branch offices who were or had stellar careers in the general public realm who they reap fantastic advantage from for little or nothing.

Is it reasonable for us to think that the millions of dollars that the WTS receives on a monthly basis is not invested in holdings other than land? I think not. I am certain that if the truth wealth of the WTS was ever brought to light we would all be shocked. We cannot compare the WTS to companies like Enron in questioning whether or not they will be brought down like Enron. The facts of the matter are that the courts in the U.S. would not in all likelyhood rule that the WTS committed a "fraud upon the public" because even though they use mind control, guilt and manipulation of members the bottom line is that people do not have to be DUBS. The facts are that people who are involved with the WTS do so freely on their own volition. No one holds a gun to their heads, physically at least, to stay in this organization. (and why do we call them an organization when we should call them a conglomeration).
The WTS has always been and will always be a BUSINESS their main focus is to make money all the crap about preaching etc. is just a smoke screen the push is the money.
The people who work for free at Bethel and Branch Offices all over the world, get up every day and GO TO WORK. That is their JOB. They are no different from millions of others in corporate america who get and go to work with the exception that they don't get paid with money. But they still are skilled people from all walks of life who make profit for the WTS which is then invested in all manner of holdings.
So when are they going to get caught? When are they going to be brought down? NEVER! The WTS will only be brought down if someone in corporate america decides to attempt to take them over and that won't happen because they have a chuch status. Coporate america could not take them over anyway because the employment laws, as well as all the equal opportunity laws and other laws that govern business if applied to the WTS would hamper profits.
But I'm rambling here and I hate that. This is just an opinion of mine let's see what everybody else thinks.

when is a nutter going to get his revenge on the society?.

there are plenty of psychos out there who have become jw's.how long will it be before someone who has left the org and is mentally unstable is going to get revenge on the society?.

i think the gb should be worried for their lives, if someone gets into bethal with a gun or a bomb they could get blasted to smithereens.. i know it has happened at least twise.a bomb in a kingdom hall in austrailia and i think a fire in korea that killed a lot of witnesses.. but think of how violent the us is compared to a lot of countries and how easy gun accses is there.. it may not be a question of if , but when.

But remember that won't happen because Jehovah has an angel on their shoulder to protect them. Remember all the urban legend stories about the woman who goes to the door of the killer and the police ask him why didn't you kill her and he says because of those two big guys with her?

AN EXPERIENCE !!!

today, a coworker finished reading my d.a.

letter i have prepared, but not sent yet.. part of my recovery from the damaged caused from membership in the cult has been to be open and honest as to who i am, was and what i was involved in.. so i gave him the letter to read, and he gave it back today, two weeks later, and said:.

"i told my wife, if they ever come knocking at our door, tell them to leave, and if they won't, call the police".
