in my experiences, i saw many women that really took a back seat to anything a "brother" had to say.
i was always amazed as to how some sisters were sooooooooooooo submissive!
they really stood out from the "jezebel" types.. if you were a "sister", how were you treated and how did you respond?.
I remember this submissive sister at my ex hall asking her husband for money. He then quized her about what she needed it for and to top it off told her to bring back the change. I was disgusted. The Jezebels I noticed aways had their own money and did their own thing w/o having to ask the master for permission.

You are in a very good legal position where your twins are concerned. I assume they are around 16 or so. The court will listen to their wishes should it come to that,
I know it was wrong for your wife to turn you into the elders but remember in her mind she thinks she is saving your life. I was glad to read that you will try and make the marriage work. If you are willing to accept her staying a JW then she needs to accept you and your boys being XJW's. I know it probably won't happen but at least you will know that you tried to make the marriage work.
so someone in my hubbys family who has been shunning me and i have not been able to see her kids etc and said it was my choice to leave so i must accept the consequences etc has been caught out.
she's had three affairs over the last two years, with both sexes plus watching porn sex toys etc .
anyway its her final jc meeting tonight, so do you reckon (and she has told them she can't say it definately won't happen again!

i hired an employee last year out of desperation since medical transcriptionist in this area are extremely hard to find.
this person had experience and had been employed at one place for a long time so i thought i would give this person a try.
I gave a verbal write up to an employee last week. She had been late 6 times in 2 weeks. I am not talking no 5 to 10 minutes. They all ranged from 30 minutes to 3 hours. She claims to be going through some kind of family crisis but enough is enough. Since last week she has been late twice. Tomorrow another write up. It's three strikes and you are out. I don't think she will last another week.
my 9 year old son decides back in april that the memorial is going to be his last meeting at the kingdomhall.
so... he refuses to go to the meetings, and when forced to go - leaves the meeting right after the song and starts walking to my mother-in-law's house a couple of blocks away where he knows my sypathetic father-in-law (a raging catholic, not a jw) will have sympathy on him and say "nevermind, just leave him here with me when you go to the meetings from now on.
" the next week - the garbage man visits to collect the trash in front of the house - and my son had taken all of his meeting clothes, pants, suit jackets, ties, dress socks, etc... and left them all curbside for the trash man to pick up.
Wow I am really surprised. I remember your earlier threads. You are very lucky. What did your wife do when she found out he threw all his meeting clothes in the trash?
at least mine don't anyway.. ive been thinking of there behaviour towards me for the last few weeks, and im just so over them being my parents.
when mike and i went to the hosp on wed night after my nan had passed away, i tried to comfort my mum, she hardly wanted me to touch her.

my mom called to tell me that my cousin made ms and how happy everyone is.
we got to talking about how the elders think they are led by holy spirit and crap like that.
it damn near killed me not to say anything but my cousin is a double lifer.
I wanted to update you on my cousin. He called me today and told me he was getting DF'd!!!!! It will be announced tonight.
I can hardly believe it. Almost a year to the day that I posted my original thread. He said after he became a MS he really tried hard to be a good witness and live a moral life but he faltered. Yes he used those words. He said 5 months ago he started dating a pioneer sister from a neighboring congregation and they had sex on several occassions. She started pushing really hard for marriage and when he refused she broke up with him and went to the elders and confessed. They don't know anything about his previous indiscretions. He said he told them he was repentant but they did not believe him. He says his ex left out no details. I asked if he was really repentant or just sorry he got caught. He admitted that he was only sorry he got caught and that he is relieved to be getting df'd. He also said they he did not put up a big fight to avoid the df'ing. He says he will go back in a few years when he can devote himself 100% to the JW's.
He believes it the truth and I have spoke to him about WT blunders till I am blue in the face. So I guess bottom line he is happy that he no longer has to hide his double life. He does not seem to be taking getting DF'd too hard. He says he has a date with a woman from his work set up for tomorrow. I am glad he has reached out to me. He is close to his JW family and they will shun him. It's not going to be easy for him. I told him to get in touch with his former friends who have left the witnesses. There are quite a few out.
Also its good to see Jehovahs holy spirit finally worked! LOL!!!!!!
whilst a jw, one thing that was evident to me was the constant gossip and backbiting.....being nice to someones face and then talking about them behind there backs.were you ever a "victim" of this sort of behaviour???
