I remember about 12 years ago, we stopped receiving the watchtower and awake magazines through the mail. Who remembers the reason for that? Afterwards, we had to get them ourselves at the hall. If these magazines were still sent through the mail, many inactive people would still be reading theses today. This would have been good for inactive people who are somewhat interested. But they probably wanted to save money someway and told us to get them ourselves at the hall. Do you think that this played a trick on them, since inactive people can't get them?

i don't know if this has been mentioned before, forgive me if it has.. i've heard a rumour from a reputable source that another bible drama video is to be released at the 2003 assembly.. the title is 'respecting jehovah's authority'.
i don't know anything else at the minute but i can gusee from the title the general gist of it!

i mean, think about it, how many countries has america subdued by force and then proceeded to permanently occupy?.
according to my limited knowledge of history, it must be the only world power ever to be able to dominate the planet without actually occupying another country.. englishman.

Years ago, we had the choice of either Winter tires or Summer tires.
Do you say summer tires down south or All season tires???

who hated the memorial?
by Tyler_Durden inwas having a wee think to myself: this year is the first year in over a decade i won't be attending the jw memorial.
not that i'm too bothered, i remembered how much i hated it, how pointless, dull, & stupid i found it!!.
i could never understand the need for the great crowd to attend the annual meeting, it wasn't for us - & it certainly wasn't for our poor bible studies!

They never give up!!!!
by enjoy ini have been da'd for almost 20 years from a congregation in wa i was 18 at the time.
i wanted to leave but the elders would not let me drift away because i knew to many people who were jw's, they told me to either come to every meeting for a month, or they would da me, so i missed the next meeting and they anounced that i was da'd.
the sad thing is that no jw ever knew what happened they all thought that i da'd myself even my sister, but oh well!!!!
