  after reading coc and isocf i cried, i was in shock, disillusioned, angry, and afraid... anyone wants to share their experience?.

  i would like to see what you think about these questions when compared with your account.. why people from different backgrounds feel similar reactions?

  I appreciated that Ray wrote the first book (haven't read the second yet), so well without any hate. One expects to read a book of a mad evil apostate trying to get back at the ORG. But it wasn't that way at all.

  It's no wonder back in the old days the Jonadabs could not get baptised and even attend the memorial celebration. I guess alowing the rank and file to get baptised is just the GB's way of throwing them a bone.

  Man oh Man AndDontcallmeshirley, that DT find is the nail in the coffin. In the past when you tell a dub that christ didn't die for you and you have no messiah they disagree. They always argue that somehow not being in the new covenant is not the same as Jesus not dieing for us. (how stupid) but that text kills their defence shows plainly that the GB have denied the rank and file the messiah. Thanks!!!!!!

  Mom & Dad (Uber Dubs) and convo about child abuse within the BORG

  so i tt mom and dad via skype last weekend (they live on the other part of the county) and the topic of abuse came up.

  of course they went ahead and blasted catholics for their coverups.

  i mentioned gonzalo campos, now mom and dad know this guy he went to their hall for several years in san diego.

  Yep when is come to the ORG we must "wait on Jehovah" " Jehovah will fix it" "Jehovah can resurrect" but if your a Catholic then your screwed because Jehovahs doing nothin for you. Love this religion.

  My sister almost died.

  ever since i was a little boy i've been aware of this vague story about my older sister having some issues at birth, but never knew the details.. yesterday i was having a conversation with a much older cousin, who is a non-practicing jw about different watchtower issues.

  while discussing the blood issue she totally came out with the story about my sister, which i never knew before.. when my sister was born some 40 years ago, my mother had the delivery at home with the help of a midwife.

  i'm not entirely sure why this decision was made instead of going to a hospital.

  Some one did calculations based on the increased mortality rate of children born with Anemia in New Zealand. Took the increase mortality rate and calculated it to all JW's worldwide from i think 1960 to 2000 and they figure conservatively, especially since the birth rate in New Zealand is low that the JW doctrine of no blood has lead to the death of at least 50,000 newborns.

  ironically, in today's wt, jws are encouraged to study the early history of the "earthly organization".

  like them [the sons of korah], do you have a desire to study and recount the history of the earthly part of jehovahs organization?

  the more you learn about gods organization and how jehovah supports his people, the more real gods kingdom will be to you.

  I'm so glad there encouraging us to study the history of the religion, i will use this encouragement as a reason to show my children. It was the study of their History that encouragement me to quit.

  I heard that theres radioactive contaminated small see life as far south as Guam. I friend of my doctor that works for the Government went over there came back and told my doctor bad things. This situation is far worse than Chernobyl and according to the Gov worker will continue to be bad for another 25-35 years.

  one of my favorites is their tracts that talk about "observing" the "lord's evening meal".

  of course they cannot call it the lord's supper like the rest of western civilization.
