  Received my tract- long Dub discussion

  i was raking my leaves when he came by- nice sunny day,too.

  he had only 5 years in the org, so the discussion didn't go too well for him.

  i told him i had already seen the tract - a friend showed it to me.

  well, after 10 years of being together, hubby has decided that he's found his 'soul mate' (the second time this year, neither of which was me) and is moving out.. i'm thirty years old and no kids, thanks to the fact that i spent 12 years in full time service telling everyone it's better to wait until the 'new system' for raising a family.

  that's all beside the point - and perhaps better suited for my counselor.

  :) anyway, the thought that keeps going through my mind is "this never would have happened if i didn't leave" and "how am i going to find someone to spend my life with at this age and who will understand me the way an ex-jw can"???

  I know how you feel. I am in my mid 30's and I dumped my wife for another woman who is 80 years old, but looks grrrrreeeeaaattt.

  My ex-wife was good to me in every way, but I was so sick of her harping on me to get a job.

  Oh well, that's the way it goes.

  What do you do with your time now that you are no longer a Witness?

  was never enough time to do all the things that needed to be done in life.. now, that my life is not so structured and revolved around preparing for.

  meetings, study and service my focus is on finishing my college degree.. what about you and your time?

  You guys crack me up. Yes I am naming all the elders in the Rockford, Il. congregation. I can't really explain WHY I am doing this. I am a very complex person with a tendency to go off on strange tangents for no apparent reason.

  Well, I don't know what to say, except that my name is now officially:

  Isaiah Richardson...whoops...I might have forgotten how to spell it though. After all I AM 80 some years old and an elder in the Rockford West congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses...Or as you Spanish folk call it; De Los Testigos y Jehova.
