and does this mean my husband has to ignore me in some manner ?
My advice is to tell the JW's to DELETED!

im seeking active or inactive jws in carolton, texas for friendship, male gays preferable.
ive just been reinstated after 6 years of disfellow.
the circumstances of my disfellowship and reinstatement is one for the books but better wait for the movie my daughter is scriptwriting.
Why would you get reinstated to a mind controlling cult? Don't you think you were better off being worldly, as the JW's say?
hello, ive been disfellowshipped for being with my boyfriend who is a witness also, i'm sad and dont know what to do now, so ive been looking around for answers, and found this site.
i don't want to go back because the people i thought i loved, the fellow brothers and sisters , didnt seem to care when i was having problems, and i wondered where the "love" was in the organization.
so there is my problem.
I am very sorry to hear about this. I almost joined the JW religion as all of my wife's family are JW's. I was about to join up and then I started doing my own independent research and what I learned appalled me. Here are some other links to other sites. This religion is about control over people and making money. Here are some links:
It is sad how brainwashed people are into siding with The Watchtower over their own family members.
Take care and good luck.

i've been a witness for as long as i can remember.
cannot remember ever celebrating a birthday or any holidays.
my grandmother introduced my parents and siblings to the religion.. it hasn't been a bad experience at all, except for the time when my hormones kicked in at 18 years old and i fornicated with my first boyfriend (it was awesome really!
What do you mean by privileges? I am kind of new to all of this?
.
so this morning at around 5am, my girlfriend and i were driving in north fresno and we noticed that there are two huge christmastree like trees in front of the hall, outside of the oh-so-welcoming gates... and so i got to thinking... and... hmm.... should i???
in the words of ts eliot, "do i dare disturb the universe?".
Please decorate your Ex-KH. Those places are so morbid and boring looking. They could use some Christmas cheer. Please let us know what you do and if you have any pictures, please post them.
if any current jw is having second thoughts on the religion and is having trouble deciding whether to stay in the org.
or leave, here is a simple test to help you decide:.
scenario: armageddon has started.
Pope,
That was great. I spoke of a similar scenario to my wife whom I am trying to get out of believing in any of the Watchtower BS. It goes like this. The Watchtower states that Armageddon is upon us and to prove loyalty to God's organization all Jehovah's Witnesses are told to go to the highest buildings and throw themselves off these buildings at a specific time of the day. The sad thing about this theory is that if told to do so I bet a large percentage of JW's would partake in such a tragedy if told to do so by the Watchtower. This is how dangerous a cult such as the JW religion is. I'm sure the government has their eye on such high-control groups.
i was raised in the truth since the age of 6 and at the age of 16 i was close to getting baptisted by then i recieved a chance to play college footbal so i fail off, but over the past year i've been striving to finally get dipped and i am at the point in my life were i've been there and seen it all, now i want my future wife to be a dedicated , baptisted servant of jehovah.
so the search is on.
please include age , years of dedication, children or not , & city
Being loyal and faithful to God is one thing, but the JW religion is about being a "Faithful and Discreet Slave" to The Watchtower. You should look into this crazy religion as it is a true cult.
the jw's say anything that is a threat to their religion to be of pagan origin.
anything that detracts the brainwashed "little flock" away from studying their watchtower magazines is considered to be of pagan origin.
they even have something on the official watchtower website about cross country skiing and its pagan origins.

If they were trully anti-pagan the Watchtower would not acknowledge the months of the year and the days of the week as these calendar designations were named after Greek and Roman gods and goddesses. Go to http://www.geocities.com/Axiom43/months.html and http://www.geocities.com/Axiom43/weekdays.html. If you ask me if is the Watchtower is Pagan and nothing in this worldly "System of Things" has anything wrong with it. The JW's should move onto their own island as nothing in this world is good enough for them and shut their F***ing mouths once and for all. Thank you.

.
does the society have any sort of explanation as to why they condone absolutely ever pagan symbol in relation to all the worldly holidays, but allow all christians to wear a wedding ring, a totally pagan symbol that originated in egypt?.
or are we showing a lack of faith by asking such a question..........
