  I read Clan of Cave Bear a long time ago, but never any of the other books in the series.

  Silly Things You Can Do For Which Jehovah Will Kill You...

  i was thinking about all the various people who the bible says have been killed by jehovah or his angels for various acts of disobedience.

  here are a few of the ones i thought of....feel free to add your own eating a piece of fruit (slow death, 930 years) picking up some sticks on the sabbath preventing the ark of the covenant from falling when the guy carrying it stumbles living in a city where your family has lived for generations, in a region where jehovah has "given" the land to his "chosen" people dancing for your victorious warrior father, not knowing he has vowed to offer the first one out of the house as a burnt offering.

  What are your vacation/holiday plans this year?

  i am planning a three week rv camping trip out west and back in june.

  we want to see some dinosaur digs,redwood trees, yellowstone national park, the grand canyon, my two grown kids and our two granddaughters.

  6000 miles in 3 weeks- and i don't even want to think about the gasoline bill!

  I would like to spend to a week in Bora Bora, but since I can't really afford it, i'll probably just take a week off work and lounge around the house.

  My husband and I are planning on visiting the Houston area this summer for a few days. It won't really be vacation since we will be looking for real estate.

  a man decided to buy a milking machine that he saw in a catalogue.

  he figured he can use the machine to have "fun" when his wife didn't want to have sex or was away on business.

  the equipment arrived when his wife was out of town, he decided to test it on himself first.

  hubby and i got on the topic last night.

  he was wondering what i was eating- a frozen jello pudding cup.

  i remember getting them at the assemblies, especially the hot summer district assemblies.

  Conventions: Cheese Danish, Frozen Orange Juice & Lemon Lime Shasta!

  When I was a kid our assembly hall had soft serve Ice Cream. That was the only thing I looked forward to at the assemblies.
