I was reading somewhere that if the world was going through a major crisis, the best thing to do was to make a victory garden, load up on canned and dry goods and buy a water filter and stock up on fresh water. Do you know of any dub that did the needed stocking up on canned and dry goods and fresh water? If they really believed the end was going to come, they wouldn't be messing around with magazines, but they'd be buying loads of pasta, beans, pasta sauce and dehydrated orange juice, much like the Mormons.

i see this as just the start...if the economy continues on a decline perhaps they will up the ante to make it look better.

other mayors and cities are looking at doing the same thing - if as people have said, their clergy are in sync with the state governments in this issue - look for more churces to start gently pressuring their flock to conform.

Usually, what happens is that people throw away their guns that are worth more to repair than the gun is worth itself to just be melted down. Those gun buybacks never work. In fact, I have a jammed pellet gun I want to get rid of and I'm hoping to convince some naive lib to take it and melt it down for a free gift card.

Libs are so fun. He/she automatically thinks I'm a bible thumper because I think that anybody should *gasp* not be forced to do something that goes against their beliefs.

So answer me this, why should a doctor do the job of what pamphlets in front of the doctor's office (Assuming it's a public hospital and not a private one) should do? The doctor finds life to be of value, no matter at what stage and he/she will stick to it.

And FYI, I'm personally against abortion as a procedure but I think that legistlating it away is the wrong method to reduce it. Want to paint me into another corner based on a stereotype? I'll give you another stereotype. I eat jerk chicken and I have dreadlocks. Happy now?
